yakuza au
ok fam this au is now separated from my previous inohina yakuza/bratva au. had to fly the girls back to japan and they got a whole new backstory ! big wall of text incoming ↓↓↓
-- uchiha clan
a clan that was once powerful but was slowly eating itself from the inside. rife with internal conflict and distrust, key figures sought to strengthen the clan and each had an idea of how to bring about that change, though no two could come to an agreement on a single method. tensions amongst the ranks began to fracture the uchiha.
taking advantage of the power struggle, madara, with the hopes of seizing total control, ignites a spark that quickly turns into a bloodbath. many low level thugs employed by the uchiha flee the compound as each key figure and their loyal followers battle it out until so few are left standing it could barely be called a clan anymore.
the power vacuum left behind by the dissolution of the uchiha has created an extremely volatile environment in the crime world as different yakuza families seek to claim the uchiha’s previously held operations and territory.
-- hebi
sick of the endless politics and weakening bonds amongst the clan, sasuke left to forge his own path. as punishment for leaving the clan itachi takes his eye.
he had never expected that the power struggles within the uchiha would lead to a massacre. so when he heard about the bloodbath occurring inside the uchiha compound, he rushed home to save his parents from a grim fate. but was too late when he witnessed itachi kill them by his own blade.
sasuke quickly enacted revenge by killing itachi and when the dust settled and madara emerged as victor, sasuke turned his blade on him too and snuffed out the flame of the uchiha forever.
karin is an ex-cop that was the uchiha's informant within the police. she brokers deals and negotiations on behalf of sasuke. she is his mouthpiece, so to speak.
sasuke is also seeking two who were once allies/friends. suigetsu who had always dreamed to join the seven swordsmen's guild, and juugo a talented and brutal fighter who dominates the underground fighting scene.
together he hopes to form a small mercenary group for hire.
-- inoshikacho alliance / inoshikacho rengo
one of the first yakuza family alliances ever made going back generations. inoshin yamanaka, chosuke akimichi and shikanazai nara where the first of each clan to join the families into an alliance that has since become one of the strongest and long-lasting alliances in yakuza history.
at the age of 25 each member of the alliance is to have at least two children to ensure the next generation of the inoshikacho alliance grow up together and are trained to take on the mantle for the sake of the alliance's future. this also ensures that at least 3 generations are alive at any one time (if they don't meet an early grave that is).
the yamanaka run brothels, which act as a communication and information network. every girl is hand picked by ino or by trusted subordinates and trained in the art of seduction and information gathering. the yamanaka have large underground garden operations that cultivate plants for poisons with all kinds of effects and traceability, from the quick and painless to the slow and destructive.
akimichi control entertainment districts, money laundering operations and run the largest underground fighting scene. money flowing in and out of casinos and other avenues are fully controlled by the akimichi.
the nara are drug traffickers that control market price and distribution.
-- hyuuga clan / hyuuga kai
the strongest and most notorious yakuza in all of japan. their efficiency in all that they do make them a fierce clan. when the clanhead was found dead, many other groups thought this was finally the crack in the hyuuga shield and made moves to try and see if they could challenge their authority. but the second daughter stepped into place and ordered everyone in within a certain radius of the hyuuga estate dead.
if they thought hyuuga hiashi was a ruthless leader, hanabi, in one day alone, managed to put herself up as one of the deadliest and horrifying yakuza leaders in recent history.
their efficiency in the business and economics sector, as well as having ties within governmental and political bodies, makes them a very powerful clan with many branching factions reaching far and wide across the country.
someone, somewhere, always answers to a hyuuga.
-- neji hyuuga (tian)
after hizashi failed to protect the hyuuga leader's eldest daughter, he had to pay with his life in front of his only son.
watching his father commit seppuku and then swiftly beheaded by hiashi in front of the elders and close family, stuck with neji his whole life. he made a silent vow to exact revenge on hiashi. the bitterness in his heart made living amongst the hyuuga a slow acting poison. his hate for hiashi became stronger than his love for his father and he could never look upon a picture of hizashi anymore because his face was the face of his enemy.
neji bided his time for years and years until one fateful night he murdered hiashi in cold blood and fled the hyuuga estate. he made his way towards mainland china with some aid from a contact in the chinese triads. he disappeared for many years living amongst a guild of killers and started going by the name tian.
his next order of business was to find the abducted daughter that caused the death of his father and kill her himself.
-- hinata hyuuga (makoto)
the abducted hyuuga heir, taken from the hyuuga clan at a very young age. makoto lives her life as a simple woman, adopted by an elderly couple in the countryside, unaware of who she is or where she comes from.
when a 'chinese' man that bears an uncanny resemblance to her shows up at her cottage one day, calling her a name that does not belong to her, her life is flipped on its head and she finds herself plunged into the underbelly of society.
-- chinese triads / pirates
tenten is a weapons smuggler. though she is affiliated with the chinese triads, she smuggles and trades weapons for anyone that buys them, as her true loyalty is to money.
tenten's operations are done by sea and she has control over a small fleet of boats that answer to her. other than a port owned by the triads, she has claimed a small remote island as her home and base of operations.
she was also neji's contact that helped him sail the seas to mainland china after he murdered hiashi.
-- korean mafia
kiba is an animal trafficker. he acquires exotic animals for their ivory/fur/leather as well as selling them alive to the wealthy for their collections and keeps.
he has sold exotic birds to the yamanaka for their gardens. gathered all manner of cervidae antlers from around the world for the nara's collection. has captured the most venomous snakes known to mankind for several organisations, including certain individuals of the uchiha family. has also sold a number of species of animals for tenten for her island.
he is generally in good graces with all kinds of people/groups due to his connections and ability to acquire the even the most endangered and rare species in the world.
-- suna siblings
kankuro and temari own a small medical clinic. kankuro is a general family doctor. people come to him for check-ups and simple treatments and minor operations. temari handles all the logistics, and appears as the clinic's secretary. they have 3 nurses: matsuri, yukata, mikoshi.
kankuro is also a certified surgeon and operates on all sorts of gang members in the hidden basement operation room. matsuri has been trusted to help kankuro with these operations when needed. their practice offers complete discretion and the clinic has become off-bounds for any gang violence, even if rivalling groups happen to meet each other on the premises. they enter a truce for as long as they are within a certain radius of the clinic.
the brother and sister duo are a respected, unaffiliated group, and they also use their operations to get clues on their brother's whereabouts.
gaara was kidnapped at a young age and was tortured to the point that psychosis was induced. he is held in the same place as juugo and both are used in fights that many come to pay dearly to watch and bet on.
-- police
with his parents killed and taken from his home, naruto was raised by a gang who kidnaps boys to beat and torture, and train them into savage fighters. he dreamed for a life where he could see the sun and the sea, to eat a hot bowl of ramen once again.
when a police investigation finally bore fruit, naruto was rescued from the place. he was taken in by iruka, one of the cops, and eventually followed in his footsteps. he made a promise that he would find and save the redhead that had once clung to him down in those dark cells.
tsunade is chief of police. sai is a detective. lee is a chinese detective commissioned by the chinese police to go to japan to work alongside the tokyo metropolitan police dept to follow the chinese triads operations in japan. (or is it the hosting country that commissions?? anyway) a number of jonin from naruto are also police including: kakashi, yamato, genma, anko, etc etc.
-- sakura
sakura is the head of a large hospital that was once tied up with the uchiha who used her as an in for smuggling medical supplies. she was called upon as their emergency doctor to treat key figures when needed.
upon hearing about their massacre she felt total relief that the family threatening her life were finally gone. she thought she was free from them when a certain uchiha and 2 others showed up at her door demanding treatment.
she can't say she was happy to be back in such a predicament but it seemed that this uchiha didn't have a penchant for threatening her life as his family did. and for selfish reasons, she was okay with this arrangement.
-- the aburame
a family of assassins. their efficiency and untraceable methods make them a highly coveted group of hitmen whose services are sold to the highest bidder. the aburame have close ties with the yamanaka of the inashikacho alliance as they outsource some of their poisons from the yamanaka gardens.
even though the yamanaka, akimichi, and nara families formed an alliance generations ago, this agreement between the yamanaka and aburame remains a secret from the rest of the alliance.
the aburame are a completely neutral party and the yamanaka understands this. to pay for their secrecy and treachery towards their sworn brothers, the yamanaka accept that if a hit were ordered against their own, it wouldn't affect their business with the aburame.

Outbreak Day - J.M
a/n: hello angels! reader is 26 and pregnant and Joel is 36. there is a little twist 😵 best way to describe this imagine is that it’s sad, long and has a shitty ending lmfao. okay anyways, enjoy reading 🫶 please send me in some fluffy requests and some dad! joel requests too!!
big trigger warning this imagine is very gory and descriptive!
“Sarah honey, is that you?” you turned to look at the front door and saw your step daughter Sarah coming home from school. “hey mum” she said as she set her backpack down on the floor. “how was school?” you walked toward her and gave her a small hug and a kiss on her forehead.
“was good. got dads watch fixed but everyone acting weird, cops everywhere, shops closing early. i don’t know just weird” she said making your heart pound a little, you didn’t know why but hearing her say that scared you but you tried not to dwell on it too much. “yeah well it’s probably just people being stupid. we shouldn’t worry too much okay?” she nodded but then groaned making you frown.
“dad told the Adlers i’d go over there to help them make cookies” she sighed, it wasn’t that she didn’t like the Adlers it was just she wanted to spend time with you and her dad as it was his birthday. “look, go there for thirty minutes then say i need you home, i don’t mind you blaming me.” she smiled and thanked you.
“i was going to make your dad a cake but we don’t have the ingredients and i was too tired to go food shopping so he should be brining one home, he’s going to be home earlier today as well” her eyes lit up as you spoke “is it a chocolate cake?” she asked watching you nod. “i didn’t tell him it was because you have been craving one i told him it was because i was” Joel hated chocolate cake but for his girls he’d do anything to please them.
“thank you mum, you’re the best. i owe you one” she said as she turned to go out the front door again to the Adlers house. “no worries honey, if Mrs Adler bakes chocolate chip cookies please bring me one, the baby is craving them like mad” you said as you rubbed your growing stomach. she nodded and said her goodbyes before leaving to spend the worst 30 minutes of her life with the Adlers.
-♡-
“hey baby girl. how was school?” Joel asked as he finally got home, four hours later than expected. “you’re late” she said, completely ignoring his question as her eyes shifted from the TV to him. you had both been waiting for him on the sofa watching Harry Potter and you had fallen asleep not even halfway through the movie. being pregnant had made you extremely tired so it wasn’t a shock to Sarah when she saw you put a blanket over yourself and curl up into a ball on the sofa within the first 10 minutes of the movie playing.
“i know, im sorry. work has been crazy, guys calling in sick, it was just me, uncle Tommy and Dave in today. i meant to phone mum but my phone died” he said as he made his way over to the two of you. his heart melted when he saw you sleeping next to Sarah, you’d never looked cuter. “its fine, we had fun without you anyways” he lifted up your feet so he could sit between you both, careful to not wake you up in the process.
“did you at least get the cake?” she said shyly as Joel got comfortable on the sofa. “oh shit” he put his head in his hands “im sorry honey i completely forgot” she nodded, understanding that he obviously came straight home as soon as he finished work. “mum is probably gonna kill you. she wanted cookies earlier from the Adlers but they were making raisin instead of chocolate chip so i didn’t even bother asking if i could bring one home for her” Sarah said and Joel wrapped his arm around her shoulders, his other resting on your legs.
“i’ll get you guys a cake tomorrow, i promise it just completely slipped my mind” she shook her head, indicating that it was fine and she understood he was stressed. Joel felt you stir and you woke up, your hair all over the place and your bones cracking as you stretched from a very good nap. “hi baby” Joel said softly as you looked at him.
he unwrapped his arms from Sarah’s shoulders for a moment so he could give you a hug and a kiss. “i miss you so much” you said as you sat up so you could rest on him instead of the arm of the sofa. “i missed you too. how are you? how’s the baby?” you nodded, still half asleep.
“fine, kicking like crazy” you were only six months pregnant and your unborn daughter was already giving you a hard time. you rested your head on his chest as he wrapped his arms around both you and Sarah, pulling you both into him. “did you bring home the cake?” you asked making him sigh “no, i’m sorry baby, i forgot” you shrugged, eyes closing again as you tried to fight sleep but it was no use.
“i love mum so much but she could have slept through world war 2 and not have been disturbed at all” she said making Joel laugh quietly, trying not to wake you up. to be fair, carrying this baby had knackered you out and he understood that you needed sleep but sometimes you would be halfway through a conversation with him when he got home from work and you’d be falling asleep whilst you were taking. “to be fair, you aren’t wrong there” he ran a hand through your hair gently as he admired you, you were stunning and he loved you so much.
“anyway, let’s try spend some time together tonight, let’s put on a good film, this is shit” Joel said making Sarah scoff and look at him “that is a lie. Harry Potter is the best” he shook his head. “take it back or you work get your present” she said making him gasp. “you wouldn’t dare do that” he said to her, making her give him the ‘try me’ face which made him quickly change his comment and apologise to her.
she grabbed the box off of the coffee table and handed it to him. he unwrapped his arm from her yet again to try open it with one hand without waking you up. he opened the box and saw his now fixed watched that had been broken for three months. “aww baby that’s so sweet, thank you” he kissed her forehead and tried to put the watch on but failed miserably making Sarah help him put it on. “okay now we can watch your stupid old film dad but don’t expect me to stay awake” she said as they both got comfortable again “i wouldn’t dream of it” he smiled at her.
-♡-
green and blue flashing light woke Sarah up from her sleep. she looked around the room confused, she had somehow ended up in her bedroom and didn’t hear any noise in the house. she sat up as she heard helicopters fly over the house and car alarms go off. she quickly got up calling out for Joel as she walked around the house but she only found you in bed asleep, no sign of Joel.
she felt awful waking you up but she had no other choice. she crept to the side of your bed and shook you awake. “mum, can you wake up please?” you jumped awake when you felt her hand on your shoulder. “what’s the matter sweetheart?” you asked but your question was answered when another helicopter flew over the house. “what the hell?” you said sitting up quickly.
you grabbed your phone which was on the bedside table but there was no service. “what’s happening?” Sarah asked as you quickly got dressed out of your pyjamas. you were going to go outside and you didn’t want your neighbours, if they were awake, to see you in your pyjamas so you put on a tracksuit before walking downstairs. “i don’t know baby”
you turned on the tv and heard the broadcast ‘stay home, do not let anyone into your house. we will post more instructions soon’ you frowned, what the fuck was happening? you checked your phone again, this time trying to phone anyone, your mum, your dad, your brother, Joel and nothing. no calls were going through.
the two of you jumped at the sound of Mercy, the Adlers dog barking at your front door. Sarah quickly put on her shoes and went outside to retrieve the dog and you quickly followed, slipping on your trainers. “Sarah i don’t think we should go outside yet. we should wait for your dad” but she ignored you. she walked outside, bringing Mercy with her to take him back home making you follow after her as quick as you could.
“Sarah please come back inside” you said but the curious girl went inside the Adlers house after she heard a glass breaking. “no Sarah don’t go in there” you sighed, you loved that girl but she did not listen. Sarah was quiet walking into that house, making sure to not make any sudden movements as she did. the noise was coming from the kitchen and she quickly made her way there and almost screamed at the sight infront of her.
you were right behind her, you felt sick to your stomach as you saw Mrs Adlers mum chewing on her daughter’s neck with some sort of fungus growing out of her mouth. your eyes widened and your heart dropped, what the fuck was going on? the once disabled old woman looked up at the two of you and quickly stood up screeching and running after you when you told Sarah to run.
you weren’t as quick as you used to be but you were luckily quick enough the run away from this infected woman, she had fallen over the crinkled carpet giving you enough time to escape. “Sarah we need to get back in the house right now” you shouted as you grabbed her hand and tried to pull her into the house but as you did Joel’s truck pulled up.
“get in the truck right now” Joel shouted at you both, he sounded scared and he was never ever scared. this made you feel even more sick than before. he had a wrench in his hand and he quickly pulled the two of you behind him when the screeching sound approached you again. you all looked at the front door to see the elderly woman fall over the steps of her front porch.
Tommy got out of the car with a huge rifle in his hand making your eyes fill with tears, you were absolutely terrified but you didn’t want to show Sarah that you were scared, if she saw that she would feel even more frightened then she already was. you grabbed ahold of her hand and tried to pull her into the truck but she wouldn’t budge. it was like she was frozen in fear.
the old woman’s head shot up, her eyes were black and she started crawling towards you then she stood up and ran towards Joel and Tommy. “what are we doing Joel” without a second thought Joel cracked the wrench on her head making her fall to the floor. you and Sarah both gasped at what he had just done. Joel was never a violent person and this had shocked you.
he dropped the wrench and they both turned to look at you and Sarah. both of your faces were filled with fear and Joel quickly pulled Sarah into him “you killed her” she said, voice filled with fear “i know baby i’m sorry” he kissed her forehead and looked at you. you couldn’t believe what you just saw. you were confused and scared. “we gotta go” Tommy said making you all quickly get in the car.
you were sat in the back with Sarah who hugged you closely “it’s alright honey, it’ll all be over soon i promise” you whispered and you rubbed your hand up and down her arm, trying to comfort her but also trying to comfort yourself. you could feel the baby kicking vigorously “are you okay y/n? you aren’t hurt are you?” Joel asked as he looked back at the two of you. you just shook your head.
you didn’t know why but all this fear made you wish you were back to being a little kid, wishing that your mum was there to comfort you when you were scared yet now you were the adult comforting your child and you didn’t know if you would ever even see your mum again.
“dad-” Sarah said but Joel quickly cut her off “i don’t know” he said like he knew what she was going to ask him. “they’re saying it’s a virus, some kind of parasite” Tommy added making Joel look at him. “does it come from terrorists?” she asked making Joel repeat himself “we don’t know”
“are we sick?” she asked and this time you answered “no, none of us are sick” Joel nodded “of course not” he sounded mad but you didn’t know what at. “why were they blowing things up?” her eyes were filled with tears as she asked all these questions.
“no idea, there’s no phone, no radio” her eyes darted between Tommy and Joel “how do you know?” she asked, voice laced with concern “what?” Joel looked back at the two of you, cuddled up together with you trying to act your calmest but he knew you, you were freaking out.
“how do you know we aren’t sick?” she was practically crying now. “they’re saying it’s mostly people in the city, that’s why they have the highway blocked off” Tommy said but he was quickly silenced when he drove past a burning house of one of his friends.
“the Adlers would take nana to the city, so that’s why they were sick?” Joel nodded “your right, that’s probably why” his thick texan accent was filled with concern but he tried his best to stay calm. “we are going to be fine, trust me” Tommy said but he sounded unsure of what he had just said.
he drive around the corner and quickly slowed down when he saw a small family. “what are you doing?” Joel asked and Tommy just shook his head “they have a kid Joel” Joel quickly cut him off. “so do we, are you forgetting that my wife is pregnant?”
“Joel Tommy is right, they have a kid we should help them” he turned back to you “no, we don’t know them. keep driving Tommy” he’d never spoken this was before and this was definitely not the Joel you knew. you just prayed that whatever this is would go away and you could go back to your normal lives.
-♡-
you were driving through the town, planes flying low, catastrophe everywhere and you were just scared. “right keep going down this way” Joel said as Tommy drove down a side road leading to a whole group of people who were fighting and running away from the danger. “keep driving Tommy” Joel said even though there were people everywhere.
“are you kidding? Joel i can’t just drive through a whole group of people” Joel cut him off shouting “just keep going damn it” cars were crashing into each other, the sounds of people screaming made your eyes fill with tears. the next thing you knew the cinema doors cracked open with a lot more people coming out of it, all of them crying.
“shit” Tommy said as he quickly stoped the car “go go, fuck Tommy go get out of here” Joel said as he looked behind him out of the truck and slammed his hand on the dashboard “i’m going, i’m going” Tommy started reversing back, careful to not hit anyone in the process.
Sarah looked out the back window and so did you, seeing the huge airplane falling rapidly toward the floor. “Tommy, you need get out of here” you shouted as the plane darted toward you. “fuck Tommy go now” Joel shouted but it was too late, the huge plane crashed on the ground exploding into a million pieces.
the huge flame almost blinded you, you felt sickened at the thought of all those people on the plane that didn’t even stand a chance. “oh shit” you heard Sarah say as a huge chunk of the plane crashed into you car and then your whole world went black.
-♡-
“y/n” you felt someone’s hand on your shoulder as you awoke from the darkness “y/n honey we need to get you out, can you get out slowly for me angel?” Joel’s soft voice filled your mind as you sat up, a sharp shooting pain went right through your stomach making you groan. “my stomach is killing me” you said as you put a hand on your belly. you looked out the window and saw Sarah sitting on the floor and Joel crouching next to where you were sitting.
“don’t panic, it’s probably nothing okay?” Joel’s heart dropped when he heard you say that, a pain in your stomach was never a good sign especially when you are pregnant. “can you get out sweetheart? or do you need help?” you just nodded and started making your way out of the car.
once you had gotten out of the car you stood next to Sarah and saw Tommy was on the opposite side “we gotta get off of the street” he said as you stood up right, you right hand still back on your stomach hoping to feel any sign of movement. “Sarah can’t walk, i’ll have to carry her. do you think you can walk?” you nodded again. “shit” you heard Tommy shout as a police car crashed into Tommys now ruined truck.
the car set alight and you were lucky you even made it out of the car that quick before it crashed otherwise you would have been dead and you wouldn’t have wanted your family to see that. “Tommy” Joel shouted as he tried to see Tommys face through the flames. “i’m okay, head to the river and i’ll meet you there” with a simple nod Joel picked up Sarah and pushed you behind him.
“stay close okay?” he gave you a quick kiss before you both started making your way through the side roads trying to find a way to the river. the two of you stopped once you saw a group of bodies with people eating them. “what the fuck” you whispered as you saw this horrific sight in front of you. one of the people shot up, looking at you twitching weirdly.
“go” Joel pushed you in front of him and you both started running through a random cafe. the man chased you, snarling and screeching as he followed. you could hear the man tripping over different things but you didn’t dare look behind you. you could hear Joel comforting Sarah who was now crying as you finally made it outside but you didn’t stop running until a gunshot filled the silent field.
you and Joel both stopped, turning to look back and the now dead body in front of you. “don’t move” you heard someone say next to you as a bright light shone on the three of you. “my daughters hurt her ankle and my wife is pregnant” the man lowered his gun and started talking to his radio “i’ve got three civilians by the river, one of them injured, one pregnant”
you couldn’t make out what the other person was saying but your thoughts were cut short when Sarah spoke up “what about uncle Tommy?” she questioned Joel just shook his head “i’m gonna get you both safe first then i’ll go back for him okay?” she just nodded and you all looked back at the masked man. “yes sir….. yes sir”
he raised his gun “we are not sick” Joel said as the man approached the three of you. “sir, i said we are not sick” with that the masked man shot a round of bullets and Joel heard you and Sarah scream. you all rolled down a small ditch and Joel quickly turned to look at the man who was now approaching him with his gun raised. “i’m sorry” he said but before he could shoot Joel another shot was fired, killing him instantly.
he looked up to see Tommy with his gun raised, he had never been so happy to see his brother in his whole life. “are you okay?” Tommy asked Joel who was just grazed by a bullet and Joel just nodded but Tommys eyes shifted to you who was covered in blood and gasping for air. “oh god” he said making Joel turn around to look at you.
all you could do was feel a throbbing pain in you stomach. Joel quickly got up and ran to you and Tommy made sure Sarah was okay and turned her away from you. he knew Joel wouldn’t want her seeing you like this and it was bad enough he had to see you like this. “no no it’s okay” he could see the blood soaking through your jumper, the once grey colour was now a soaked dark red and it was growing by the second.
“you’re okay, move your hand honey” Joel said once you’d moved your hand, putting pressure on the wound. you cried in pain as you still gasped for air. “i know i know im so sorry sweetheart i am” he said and he pressed harder on the wound to stop it from bleeding out more. you managed to speak through your pain as you grabbed onto Joel’s arm “go” he shook his head.
“go Joel, take” you took a few more deep breaths as you tried to calm yourself down “take Sarah and go” he just shook his head again. “no, i’m not leaving you like this. i can get help and you’re gonna survive this” he said, his eyes filling with tears as he saw your tired but pained expression.
“you know how much i love you, i don’t” you closed your eyes as you breathed deeply again “i don’t want you seeing me like this” you stuttered out. you felt a tear roll down your cheek as you realised what was about to happen to you. “meeting you was the best thing to ever happen to me” you could hear Sarah sobbing next to Tommy and you hated that she was even watching you, laying there covered in blood.
“i’m sorry” he said as he sat down next to you, he took the pressure off of your wound and you were grateful he had given up, there was no way you were going to be able to survive this and you didn’t want to prolong it. you just shook your head at his comment. “don’t-”
you felt pain all over your body but you felt tired, so tired that you wanted to sleep desperately. “i love you, i love Sarah. just take her and run okay?” he had tears now rolling down his cheeks, his bloody hand now stroking your cheek softly. “im not leaving you here on your own” you just smiled at him. you knew he wouldn’t leave but you wanted to save him from the trauma of seeing you go.
“i know” you looked at him and he kissed you, one last for however long he has left on this earth. “i love you so much” you heard him say and with that your eyes closed. he sobbed quietly, you were gone and nothing was ever going to bring you back.
you were carrying his unborn child and he wished he could go back in time and taken the bullet instead of you. you were this ethereal soul who didn’t deserve to die this way and he hated it. he hated it so much. he tried his best to calm himself down as he took your wedding ring off of your finger and put it in his pocket hoping to keep it safe. it wasn’t like someone was going to steal it but he took it off so he could have something with him that was yours.
he kissed your forehead and carefully placed your body back on the floor and turned toward Sarah and Tommy, he had tear stains on his cheeks but his expression was neutral. “let’s go” he said, he was emotionless “dad, we can’t just leave her-” he cut Sarah off “i said let’s go” with that the three of them left and never looked back.

book (lovers) - h.s.
a/n: okay i know ive said this about everything ive written but this one takes the cake for being so self indulgent its actually insane. excerpt she reads is from page 425 of ‘kiss the sky’ by kb ritchie :)) enjoy my loves, this is one of my favorite things ive written. oh also this is severely corny LMFAO
Splayed across the couch, she rested her head against the armrest while her feet lay idle in Harry’s lap, chin downturned as she read the book that dangled above her face, fingers softly tapping against the front and back covers. It was Sunday, and a big part of their ‘weekly reset’ as they liked to call it, entailed a full house clean, and while the dishwasher ran and the clothes were in the washer and dryer, they would read a little bit of their respective books.
However, what never failed to make people laugh, including Harry’s fans, was how drastic of a change their books would be in genre. How Harry would carry around an early century poetry book, while his girlfriend would carry around an annotated copy of a romance book, flashy tabs sticking out of the edges and all. It was always a conversation starter when they would go to cafes, and they would even try to switch books— which never failed to make Y/N laugh at the way Harry scrunched up his nose at the vulgar language on the pages. He almost always asked to switch their books when she ended up on a smut scene. Just his luck, he guesses.
“Switch?” Harry murmured, eyes looking up from his Bukowski book, seeing his sweet girlfriend peek her eyes up from hers.
“Um,” She said quietly, almost mouse-like. “Can we… I just, um, I just got to— a good part?”
“A good pa- oh.” Harry hummed, brows scrunched in confusion until he realized what she meant. “Uh… how about 5 more minutes? Give y’a bit of a head start right now if y’speed read?”
“Yes! Okay, going.” She smiled, eyes trailing back toward her book, flipping through the pages every 30-45 seconds, knowing she was now in a time crunch.
Harry watched in admiration as she grasped her book with one hand, fanning out toward the living room, her face now fully visible to him. He admired the way her brows would scrunch every so often, or how she picked up the habit of pinching her bottom lip between her fingers in concentration like he did. Or how her brows would furrow, and how she would blink the slightest bit faster when she found something cute, as if she was trying to paint a picture in her head without closing her eyes, finding the smallest reprieve in the semi-regular darkness.
She was his own personal jar of perfection. Of sunshine, of love, of happiness. She saved him. In every way a person can be saved.
“Okay, I’m ready,” she grinned with finality, sitting up to meet him halfway, knees hitting the side of his thigh as she held her book out, thumb in place of her spot. He smiled as she shook him right out of his thoughts, a serene glimmer in his eyes, heart nearly falling out of his chest in pure awe. Awe that someone could love him this much, and awe that he could love somebody this much.
This feeling almost felt beyond him.
“C’mere, actually. Lemme read t’you.” He smiled, pulling her into his lap, adjusting her so she rested against the crook of his arm and on the armrest. Clearing his throat, he began reading the first line of the new chapter in her book, pulling her closer every time she would swoon quietly, so quietly, it almost sounded like a bubble in her throat.
Eventually, she takes over, giving him a chance to rest his voice. She croons the words softly, the utmost intimacy permeating the room as she reads the words of of the ivory colored page, committing the inked words to memory.
Breathing softly, her voice light and her hand on Harry’s which rested on her stomach, she read, “‘I realize, in this very moment, that love was the only thing missing from my life. And it’s the only thing that matters to me.’”
“Tha’s so me.” Harry states, making Y/N lift her head up from his chest.
“What?” She guffaws, laughs bubbling from her chest. “Oh my god, I’ve turned you into me.”
“Wha’ d’you mean?” He says confused.
“Never in my entire time of knowing you, Harry Styles, have you ever said ‘that’s so me’. I’m literally turning you into a carbon copy of me. Day by day, baby.” She grins, book face down on the couch so she can talk to him and keep her spot.
“Umm,” He giggles. “Well, y’kinda take up… like… 90 percent of my life. So, I was bound t’pick up your silly lingo.”
“Sure, baby. But, yeah- I agree. Love— our love, really, is one of the only things that matter to me. In a different universe, if I didn’t have this… if I didn’t have you? I think I would be so lost right now.”
“And in every single universe,” he whispers, pecking a soft kiss to her lips. “I will always find you. My perfect Sunny girl.”

-------- ••• ------- ✧ °✧° ✧ -------- ••• -------
Alhaitham BJ Headcanons [NSFW]
-------- ••• ------- ✧ °✧° ✧ -------- ••• -------
Pairing: Alhaitham x GN Reader
Warnings: Sexual content, details of oral sex, the word length is also mentioned woah scary
Reminder that this is intended for adult viewing only. If you are a minor, I am actively discouraging and not condoning any reading of my NSFW material. I have plenty of SFW stuff on my master list please check that out instead!
Word count: 491
Authors note: I'm leaving Kaeya out of this one everyone gasp and cry please, I have so many Kaeya so little time I decided to give Alhaitham all the glory on this one. I am being brave here though LMFAO writing oral scenes has never been my strong suit but I think it turned out well! I hope you enjoy 🤝
-------- ••• ------- ✧ °✧° ✧ -------- ••• -------
After a steamy make out with Alhaitham sitting on his lap you can tell he's hard
Though you wanna tease him about it you decide you have a much better idea...
"Haitham...?" You make your way off his lap and get down on your knees, looking up at him with the best doe eyes you possibly can muster. His breath hitches in his throat before he clears it. "Yes?" You try your best to conceal the smirk threatening to plaster its way on your lips, but you're determined to have this feigned innocent act intact. Running a hand over his inner thigh, dangerously close to the obvious bulge in his pants, you bat your eyelashes at him. "Can I suck your cock?"
He'd be a mad man to turn that down, absolutely insane
So he obliges
You help him make quick work of his pants and then you decide to slowly peel down his underclothes
(I was gunna say boxers or underwear but that felt too modern? I dunno sorry)
He fidgets above you before his dick springs free of it's confines
I mentioned before in my NSFW hcs his man is got an average sized cock but he's got girth
Alhaitham revels in the way you look at his cock, it gives him a bit of an ego boost and will tease you about it later when he's fucking your brains out
For now you make eye contact with him and run your tongue over the head of his tip
Already tasting a little bit of precum
You lap at the head watching the stoic expression slowly turn to something more desperate
You also enjoy teasing him after all~
Finally sucking softly on the head of his cock he threads his fingers through your hair
He doesn't push (respectful king) but he does tighten his grip warning you to knock off the teasing
You pull back, make eye contact and blow gently on his sensitive cock
Once again absolutely loving the desperation on his face now
Before he can scold you take his cock (or as much as you can fit in your mouth) to the base
Alhaitham isn't one to be super vocal but he has his moments
The lewd soft moan this man let's out is almost enough to make you cum untouched
Slowly you begin to bob your head up and down on his cock
Alhaitham's grip on your hair flows with your movements
His eyes stay locked on your mouth wrapped around his length and he's mesmerized
As you speed up you fondle his balls and that's what pushes him over the edge
He has no time to warn you before blowing his load directly in your mouth.
You try your best to swallow it all, you really do but some leaks out the corner of your mouth
Don't worry Alhaitham shoves it right back into your mouth with his finger to make sure you get it all 😇
-------- ••• ------- ✧ °✧° ✧ -------- ••• -------
Reminder that my requests are open, feel free to shoot me one!

Lost and Found: A Pirates Promise
Chapter 45: The Last Stand
This gif because Ichiji finally arrives to whole cake island
And this gif because Sanji in the next chapter is going to fight with luffy.
And this song because when we get to that final POV, which is Sanji's yall will feel it, when Y/N says it. Also this song is way to good LMFAO
A/N: and we are back at it again with another chapter! Yall, I have been going back and forth with some of the writing that I now have original drafts of some of the chapters. I felt inspired by some and others. I was like maybe this would work, to which I enjoyed so much that it has now been added. When I tell you, the changes, the angst, the betrayal, and everything is going to be wild! We got some Ichiji POV, Sanji POV, and Y/N POV. The ending tho.. so much hurt. Thank you guys so much for following, liking, reblogging, just following along with the fan fiction. I believe it's this chapter or the next one that has a few song lyrics that are spanish, but I translated it to english, I will add the song onto here so that way once you read it you’ll understand it. The song is called La Media Vuelta by Luis Miguel… and dont worry… there'll be more songs coming as well. We added that flair and AU to these bad boys, while also sticking to the anime pacing. And without further ado. Let the adventure begin!

Sanji x Reader, Sanji x Y/N, One piece X Reader
Y/N POV…
I watched as Nami kissed the vivre card, a sly smile spreading across her face. "Ohh, I like where this is going," I said, seeing the panic ripple through the homies as they sensed what was coming. Their eyes widened, full of fear. The power of Lola's vivre card was undeniable, and I couldn't help but grin.
"Didn't you hear what the tree said before that? The whole plan spilled right out!" I added, laughing at how things were turning in our favor. Pound, still trying to wrap his head around it, asked how exactly having the vivre card was going to help.
Nami, in all her brilliance, decided to use King Baum's voice to explain, mimicking his deep, trembly accent. I couldn't hold it in—I burst out laughing, wiping a tear from my eye. "Nami, stop!" I gasped, clutching my stomach. It was too much.
But the moment didn’t last long. Nami’s senses were sharp, and she turned her attention to Randolph and the stork, who were trying to sneak away. "Not so fast, you two!" she called out.
Randolph, the rabbit, immediately pointed to the stork. "Apologies, it was his idea!" he said, quick to throw his partner under the bus.
"He's lying!" the stork squawked, flustered.
Nami didn't let them off the hook so easily. "Here’s the deal—you forest creatures are going to be my loyal subjects from now on. Any questions?" she declared with an air of confidence. King Baum and Randolph started to protest, their voices shaky and unsure.
"Ohh, you wanna do this the hard way? Go ahead and try me," Nami challenged, her eyes gleaming with power. The homies quivered in fear. It was clear who was in control now.
"Listen up—here’s your first order. You guys go help Luffy!" Nami commanded, her voice ringing with authority. The homies, reluctant at first, began to murmur their protests.
"Well, are you going to argue, or are you going to help Luffy?!" Nami snapped, the vivre card glowing faintly in her hand. Its power over them was absolute, and they had no choice but to follow her orders.
"This vivre card is coming in pretty handy, if I do say so myself," Nami added with a smirk.
I grinned, nodding in agreement. "No kidding, you’ve got them wrapped around your finger," I said, watching the homies scramble to obey. The tables had turned in our favor, and now it was time to make our move.
The homies began to murmur among themselves, confusion evident on their faces. "Has anybody seen where that red-haired girl went? And the one with the bandana on her head?" they asked, their voices tinged with concern.
"Ohh, we're right here!" Nami chirped, a mischievous grin spreading across her face as we revealed ourselves inside King Baum's mouth. The tension in the air shifted, and I couldn't help but laugh at their bewilderment.
Nami raised Lola’s vivre card triumphantly. "I thought I told you to help out Luffy fighting Cracker," she said, her tone dripping with authority.
Pound was now lounging comfortably in one of King Baum's trunks, looking a bit too relaxed for my liking. "Have you seen him? He's pretty strong," the flower homie said, glancing nervously around.
"Like I care," Nami replied, her voice sharp. She looked at me, and we both shared a knowing grin. "Listen here and listen good—no matter how many of you wither, it won't bother us one bit."
The homies all gasped in shock, their eyes wide as they processed our words. The sheer audacity of our claim seemed to unsettle them.
"So you guys are afraid of General Cracker? What about Big Mom?" I taunted, feeling a surge of confidence.
Nami continued to hold the vivre card high, her determination unwavering. "Which one is scarier?" she asked, her voice playful yet commanding.
"You are!" the homies squeaked in unison, their faces pale with fear.
I couldn’t help but chuckle at their reaction. "See? Even they know not to mess with us," I said, feeling the exhilaration of our newfound power.
Nami winked at me, and we shared a moment of camaraderie. "Now, let's get back out there and show them what we can do!" she declared, her spirit infectious.
Ichiji POV…
We finally arrived at the Germa Kingdom after two days of travel. The moment the castle came into view, a sense of anticipation washed over me, but my thoughts were preoccupied with a little someone who wore a white dress—my fiancée, Y/N. She should be arriving at Whole Cake soon, I thought, excitement bubbling in my chest as the plan fell into motion.
My gaze flicked to the engagement ring nestled securely in its box, the diamonds glinting in the light. I stared at it, imagining how it would look on Y/N’s finger. I could almost see her beaming smile as I slipped it onto her hand, her eyes sparkling with surprise and joy. From the moment I first saw her fight, her fierce spirit ignited something deep inside me—an insatiable hunger that only she could satisfy. Even though our marriage was arranged, I was determined to claim her entirely, to make her mine in every way.
“Hey, Ichiji, still daydreaming about your little princess?” Niji teased, stepping off the ship beside me.
“Just mind your own business,” I shot back, though a small smile tugged at my lips. The cheers of Germa soldiers welcomed us as we entered the kingdom, their voices echoing in the air.
“Welcome back, Master Ichiji!” one soldier called, his enthusiasm infectious.
“Congratulations on your engagement!” another soldier shouted, and a swell of pride washed over me. The admiration of my comrades filled me with a sense of purpose. "You two are made for each other!" yelled another soldier, and I felt my chest swell at the thought. Whether Y/N wanted this marriage or not was no longer my concern, especially since we had something of hers hostage.
“Master Ichiji, Master Niji, it’s been a while!” another soldier chimed in, his voice brimming with excitement.
“I can’t believe they ended that long battle at Broc coli Island!” yelled a third, causing a wave of chatter to ripple through the crowd.
“Why isn’t he coming out to greet us? Where is he?” Niji asked, scanning the area for the failure of a brother, Sanji.
“Knock it off, Niji,” I replied, irritation creeping into my voice. The last thing I needed was to hear about Sanji right now.
As we made our way to the castle, I could feel the energy shifting, anticipation hanging thick in the air. “Hey, Dad! We’re back!” I called out, stepping into the dining room.
“Great work, Ichiji and you too, Niji!” our father boomed, his authoritative voice resonating in the grand hall as he sat on his throne, radiating an air of power and dominance. “Have the arrangements been made like I asked?” I inquired, my gaze fixed on one of the handmaids, an edge of command in my tone.
“Yes, young master. Allow me to bring in the paperwork for you,” she purred, the flattery grating on my nerves.
“Where is he?” Niji interrupted, scanning the room for our brother Sanji.
“Right here,” Reiju said, stepping in with Sanji trailing behind her.
“Sanji! Wow, you really didn’t die! Check you out,” Niji mocked, his laughter echoing through the hall. I remained composed, my expression unwavering as I focused on Sanji.
His eyes met mine, a storm of rage and disbelief swirling within them. “Don’t you want to congratulate Ichiji on his marriage to Princess Y/N? I know she’s your crewmate and all, but…” I laughed, enjoying the discomfort that hung in the air like a thick fog.
“Ichiji, have you gotten the chance to see her yet?” our father asked, genuine curiosity lighting up his features.
“Yes, I did,” I replied, letting the words flow smoothly, enjoying the moment. “I actually spotted her back in Chocolat town, wearing a short white dress.” The vivid image of Y/N in that dress ignited a fire within me, and I savored Sanji’s reaction. His tension was palpable, his fists clenching at his sides.
“She looked exquisite, like an angel among mere mortals,” I added, a smug grin spreading across my face. The frustration etched on Sanji's face was more than satisfying; it was intoxicating. I could almost taste the victory on my tongue.
“Have you told her yet?” Reiju interjected, the playful tone in her voice adding to the amusement.
“Not yet, but soon,” I said, savoring the anticipation that bubbled beneath the surface. “I want it to be unforgettable, something that’ll make her realize how fortunate she is.”
Sanji’s gaze hardened, his frustration boiling over. “Why are you so obsessed with this? It’s not what she wants!”
“Obsession? No, Sanji. It’s about claiming what’s rightfully mine,” I replied, a carefree air masking the hunger brewing inside me. “This is an arrangement, and she’ll learn to embrace it. I’ll make sure of that.”
Niji couldn't resist the chance to poke fun at Sanji. “Hahaha, looks like you got yourself a fancy gift. Shackles always did suit you; takes you back, doesn’t it?” he taunted, his laughter echoing through the dining room.
Sanji slapped Niji’s hand away, rising to his feet, his head held high, eyes blazing with indignation.
“Ichiji and Niji, you both must be exhausted from the trip. Why not grab something to eat?” our father interjected, a tone of authority in his voice that quelled the brewing tension.
After changing out of our raid suits and into our usual attire, I opted for a black long-sleeve shirt and a red cravat paired with white dress pants, feeling the weight of my responsibilities settle onto my shoulders. The lavish spread before us looked tempting, and we dove into the meal, savoring each bite.
“I’m sorry, young master, but here are the papers for you to review,” the handmaid from before said, approaching with a stack of documents.
“Good, you’re dismissed,” I replied, waving her away without a second thought. The others continued their banter, but I could sense Sanji’s eyes boring into me, filled with suppressed fury.
“What’s that?” Yonji asked, leaning closer, curiosity etched on his face.
I smirked, keeping my focus on the papers. “These are the arrangements I have planned for when my fiancée arrives,” I replied confidently. “Clothing stocked, shoes stocked, wine stocked, flowers stocked… and her dresses for the events, one of which is the lunch with Big mom.” I paused for effect, allowing the anticipation to build in the room.
“The pale yellow halter dress, openback with a high slit for her left thigh,” I continued, relishing the moment. “Perfect for the lunch” My eyes flicked up to Sanji, who was gritting his teeth, his expression a mix of disbelief and frustration as he chewed through the meal.
“What do you think? Isn’t it exquisite?” I asked, the teasing lilt in my voice as I enjoyed his reaction.
“Exquisite? More like tasteless,” Sanji snapped, glaring at me.
“Jealousy doesn’t suit you, brother,” I shot back, leaning back in my chair, basking in the warmth of my triumph. “I’m just looking out for her. After all, it’s not every day you get to dress up a princess, right?”
“Maybe she’d prefer someone who actually cares about her feelings,” he muttered, trying to maintain his composure.
Reiju, who had been listening quietly, leaned forward, her interest piqued. “Ichiji, can I see the ring?”
Reiju leaned forward, her curiosity piqued as I pulled out the engagement ring from my pocket. The brilliance of the diamonds sparkled under the light, but it was the deep red ruby nestled in the center that truly caught her eye.
“Wow, it’s beautiful,” she remarked, inspecting the ring closely. The ruby glinted like a captured flame, drawing attention to its significance. “She’ll love it. But will she love you?”
I shrugged, confidence radiating from me. “She will come to love me. I’ll make sure of it. This is just the beginning.”
The glint in Sanji’s eyes darkened as he shot back, “You can’t force love, Ichiji. She deserves someone who truly cares for her.”
“Of course, and that someone is me,” I countered, relishing the challenge. “Soon, everyone will see how perfect we are together.”
My father straightened in his seat, the air thick with authority as he began to discuss the fall of the Bro Coli regime due to Doflamingo not supplying them weapons, since he was defeated, a significant victory for our family. “And as I last recall, Ichiji, didn’t your fiancée face Doflamingo, even defeating one of his top executives?” he said, pride glimmering in his eyes.
“Yes, she’s impressive,” I replied, a sense of satisfaction swelling within me. I couldn’t help but feel drawn to her fierce spirit even more with every mention of her strength.
Yonji took another bite of his bread, his smirk deepening as he continued, "If she's anything like she was when we first saw her during that broadcast, then I definitely should've called dibs first." His words carried an edge, but the real sting came next. "And if she's anything like what I just saw—wearing that short blue skirt and cropped tank back on that ship, showing off that body—man, I really should’ve made a move sooner."
I turned to Yonji, my patience running thin. "Watch your mouth," I said with a sharpness that wiped the smirk from his face. "She's still my fiancée, and I won’t tolerate any disrespect toward her."
He raised his hands in mock surrender, though his eyes still twinkled with amusement. "Alright, alright. Just saying—"
"You’ve said enough," I interrupted, my voice low and deadly.
Sanji, who had been quiet until now, shot up, his eyes widening. “Wait, what broadcast?” His voice was tight, filled with both confusion and anger.
Yonji laughed, clearly enjoying the tension in the air. "Oh, you didn’t know? Back at Punk Hazard, Ichiji here couldn’t keep his eyes off her when she fought that bird woman. It was a hell of a fight." He chuckled again. “He was practically drooling over the screen.”
Sanji’s face twisted in fury. “So you’ve been watching her this whole time?” he growled, stepping closer, fists clenched. "You bastards were the damn brokers keeping tabs on her!"
I didn’t flinch as Sanji’s anger erupted. Instead, I leaned back, my smirk widening. “Of course, Sanji. You didn’t think we’d ignore someone as... valuable as her, did you? After all, she’s soon to be part of the Vinsmoke family.”
Sanji’s face flushed with rage, his hands shaking as he fought to contain himself. “You don’t have the right to call her that,” he spat, barely keeping his voice steady, his fury palpable. "She’s not yours."
“Right or wrong, it doesn’t matter,” I shot back, enjoying the tension in the room. “She’s mine now. And once she’s here, you’ll have to get used to it.”
The anticipation of her arrival and the subsequent confrontation hung in the air like a storm cloud, and I couldn’t wait to see how she would handle it.
“Bear this in mind: the power we will be gaining is tremendous! The power of Germa will strengthen!” my father declared, his voice booming with authority and excitement. It was rare to see him this animated, and I could feel a swell of pride in my chest.
Niji leaned back in his chair, a smirk plastered on his face. “You should be honored, Sanji, since you’re marrying one of Big Mom’s daughters. Who would have predicted you’d come in handy?” The jab was sharp, intended to provoke, and I could see Sanji’s jaw clench, a mix of defiance and anger simmering just beneath the surface.
“There's still food on your plate, don’t waste it, Niji,” Sanji said, trying to keep his cool despite the tension.
“This? Yeah, I’m done—not hungry,” Niji retorted, pushing his plate away in mock disgust.
“Finish it! You don’t know the value of food, you stuck-up prince!” Sanji snapped back, his eyes blazing with indignation.
“Shut the hell up!” Niji fired back, clearly irritated. He waved his hand, calling over the head chef, Cossette. “This vile slop you served us caused my brother to upset me!” His voice dripped with disdain as he held up the dish, ready to hurl it.
Before Niji could throw it, Sanji sprang up, his anger reaching its peak. “You low-life bastard! Are you trying to leave a scar on a lady's face?” he yelled, stepping between Niji and Cossette.
Sanji POV..
I couldn’t stand these arrogant bastards. The way they carried themselves, like they owned the world, made my blood boil. But what stoked the flames of my fury even more was the fact that Ichiji was using Y/N, my darling princess, my fiancée (a lie, but it gave me a sense of grounding), as a pawn in his twisted game. And to make matters worse, Niji almost hit Cossette! A woman! Was he trying to scar her face?
“Huh, a lady?” Niji scoffed, his tone dripping with disdain. “How stupid are you defending a kitchen wench?” He grinned as if relishing the chaos.
I crouched down, looking at the food that was now strewn across the floor. “Now there’s food all over the floor,” I said, eyeing the mess.
“It’s called aligot,” I said, “and it’s made with cheese blended with mashed potatoes. Potatoes are very nutritious. I assume this fine concoction, due to your noble status, was chosen for you—a fine course for breakfast.” I shoved a spoonful into my mouth, relishing the rich flavors.
“Don’t, Master Sanji! Royal blood mustn’t eat off the floor!” Cossette chimed in beside me, her voice a mixture of concern and urgency.
“The flavor is impeccable,” I muttered, still chewing.
“Poverty has done a number on you, Sanji! Don’t taint our bloodline!” Niji spat, advancing toward me, fists clenched. Just as he was about to land a hit, I locked eyes with him.
“Think of the wedding! Stop!” Father’s voice cut through the tension, and Niji halted his strike, though his rage simmered beneath the surface.
“I’m embarrassed to even be related to you! Disrespecting food is one thing, but raising your hand to a woman is sick!” I said, my gaze now directed toward Ichiji. “And forcing a woman into a marriage she didn’t want is vile!”
“Just because you’re stuck-up princes doesn’t mean you can treat women like dirt!” I shouted, feeling the heat rising in my chest. “Everything you guys do goes against my principles.”
“Oh, Sanji, your head is tainted by the ideologies of the weak! Ever since we were children, your thinking has been incomprehensible! Royalty abides by its own set of rules; you’re out of touch,” Ichiji retorted, his voice dripping with condescension.
“The last thing I want to hear is something out of your mouth!” I yelled back, my anger boiling over.
“Could it be that your ideologies were tainted by this man?” Father interjected, holding up a picture of Zeff, his eyes glinting with malicious intent.
“Big Mom’s information network is impressive,” he continued. “I believe this is a recent photo. Is something wrong? You’re turning white as a ghost,” he taunted.
My eyes widened in horror as the realization sank in.
“In other words, this is just a precaution. I won’t hesitate to relieve this man of his head if you don’t abide by the terms,” he said, his voice low and threatening.
“I wouldn’t do anything drastic if I were you. Forget your friends, accept your marriage to Pudding quietly, and let the princess marry Ichiji. Do that, and everything will work out just fine.”
Panic surged through me as my mind flashed back to the moment Zeff saved me when I was only eight years old, pulling me from the depths of despair, the Baratie, my first real home. His life was on the line now, just like King’s and all of Y/N’s loved ones were at risk. And here I was, completely powerless.
We were both stuck, and there was nothing I could do to stop this.
“Let’s have a peaceful wedding ceremony,” Father said, his voice as cold and commanding as ever. “We will be having lunch with Big Mom and Pudding today, so go get ready shortly.” His eyes glinted with expectation as he leaned back, fully confident in his control over the situation. “Any objections, Sanji?” he added, a subtle smirk tugging at the corner of his lips, daring me to speak up.
I stood there, fists clenched at my sides, staring down at the floor as a storm of emotions churned inside me. Anger, frustration, helplessness—they all threatened to boil over, but what could I say? What could I do that wouldn’t put Zeff, Y/N, and everyone I cared about in danger?
My head bowed in defeat, the weight of everything crashing down on me. Zeff’s life hung in the balance, Y/N was being manipulated, and I was being pushed into a corner with no way out. All for the sake of some twisted family plan to strengthen Germa and align with Big Mom.
Now, I’m faced with another dilemma, and believe me when I say—I truly hate it here. This isn’t my family. These people, with their arrogance and cruelty, they’ve never been my family. I left them behind a long time ago. But here I am, shackled to them once again, powerless to protect the people I love.
All I want is to escape this nightmare. But for now, I have no choice but to play along. For Zeff. For Y/N. I grit my teeth and prepare for the charade to continue.
Y/N POV..
We finally made it to where Luffy was, just in time to see Kingbaum slam into General Cracker. "That went better than expected! Kingbaum, Luffy! Are you okay?" Nami asked with concern, glancing back at Luffy as we all tried to catch our breath.
"Luffy, you alright?" I echoed, worry filling my voice.
“Nami, Y/N… I need time to recover from Bounce Man,” Luffy replied, his voice weak and strained.
“What?” Nami asked, wide-eyed.
“Luffy needs at least ten minutes to regain his strength. Bounce Man always takes a lot out of him," I explained, remembering the toll it had taken on him during his battle against Doflamingo back in Dressrosa.
“Alright, I’ll look after you until you rest up,” Nami said as she turned to the homies. “You! Bring Luffy to us and protect him until ten minutes have passed.”
“You gotta do what she commands, homies!” Kingbaum ordered.
The homies quickly dragged Luffy up to us. “Thanks, guys,” Luffy muttered weakly.
“Don’t thank us yet; save your energy,” Nami urged, her voice tight as we heard General Cracker approaching once again.
“That’s our cue, let’s go!” Nami shouted as Kingbaum picked up the pace, trying to get away from Cracker.
“I feel so ashamed!” Kingbaum wept as he lumbered forward.
“Let’s try not to get caught! Pick up the pace!” Nami urged, her voice tense.
“Son of a birch!” Kingbaum cursed. "He's gonna catch up! Can’t you go any faster?” Nami yelled, panic rising in her voice.
“How many minutes have passed?” I asked, my eyes scanning the dense forest ahead.
“Not even the full ten!” Nami replied, clearly agitated.
“Let’s speed it up, you guys!” Nami commanded.
Suddenly, Kingbaum stopped dead in his tracks. “Why’d we stop?” I asked, immediately on alert.
“Who’s this guy?!” Nami cried out, her voice filled with fear as the homies trembled around us.
The homies murmured in terror, “That’s… General Cracker!”
“You mean to tell me General Cracker isn’t an actual biscuit cracker?” I said, half in disbelief.
“That’s not the point!” Nami snapped as we found ourselves surrounded by Cracker’s biscuit soldiers once more.
Cracker grinned menacingly. “Hmm, so humor me, Kingbaum. Want to explain why you’re helping the Straw Hats?” he asked, his voice dripping with mockery.
“Well… you see, I…,” Kingbaum stammered in fear before Cracker sliced off the top of his trunk in one swift motion.
“Ahhh! Kingbaum howled in pain.
“I’ll just kill you all instead,” Cracker declared coldly as several homies fell, lifeless, around us.
“This guy is scary…” Nami muttered under her breath.
“You surprised? I’m one of the Sweet Three Generals,” Cracker said, pride in his voice.
“Nami, leave this one to me,” I said firmly, my resolve hardening. "I’ll buy us some time."
I reached up and tightened Zoro’s bandana around my head, feeling a sense of comfort in its presence, as if Zoro’s fighting spirit were with me. The fabric hugged my forehead like a protective charm, giving me the focus I needed for the battle ahead. I drew my sword, my fingers gripping the hilt as I pressed the blue gemstone embedded in its handle. A powerful surge of energy pulsed through my veins, different this time—cool and fierce. Ice began to spread over the blade, glistening with blue electricity crackling along its edges.
“Nami, make sure the homies protect Luffy, okay?” I said, my voice steady as I stepped forward to face Cracker.
Cracker grinned, clearly entertained. “And who might you be?” he sneered.
I clenched my left hand, feeling the power surging within me. Without hesitation, I leaped into the air, my blade radiating with frost and lightning.
“Ice Shards!” I cried out, channeling the ice energy in my blade, releasing a barrage of sharp, freezing projectiles that sliced through the air with deadly precision.
The shards spun through the air like frozen stars, aimed directly at Cracker, shattering his biscuit soldiers on contact.
I smirked, stepping forward with confidence. “I’m sure by now you know who I am,” I said, tilting my head, amusement in my tone.
Cracker smirked back, clearly unfazed. “You’re Princess Y/N from the Straw Hat Pirates,” he said coldly.
“In the flesh,” I responded with a mock bow, adding a bit of flair for good measure.
“You think you can humor me with your games?!” Cracker snarled, clearly annoyed.
“Humor? Maybe,” I teased, “but I’m also here to kick your ass.” I straightened up, my eyes narrowing as Cracker clapped his hands, summoning another pair of biscuit soldiers.
“Why not just face me yourself? Forget the biscuits,” I challenged as one of the soldiers lunged at me. I reacted quickly, doing a one-handed backflip, using the momentum to lift my right leg and crack the biscuit soldier's hardened exterior with a single blow.
“Now,” I said, smirking even wider, “are you ready to fight for real? Or are you compensating for something?”
“You’ve definitely been around Zoro way too long, Y/N!” Nami yelled from behind, exasperated.
I chuckled, glancing back at her briefly. “Maybe I have… or maybe it’s his lucky bandana I’m wearing.” I tugged at the bandana tied around my forehead with a wink before turning my full attention back to Cracker.
The electricity and ice continued to course through my blade, the tension rising as Cracker’s grin faded into a more serious expression. This fight was only just beginning.
Cracker’s smirk turned sinister as he eyed me. “Are you sure Straw Hat can’t back you up? Pretty foolish of you to attack me on your own,” he taunted.
I met his gaze without flinching. “I have a duty to protect my captain. If he’s down and I gotta step up, then so be it,” I said with determination. A smirk tugged at the corner of my lips. “Besides, it looks to me like you’re all talk and no action, biscuits.”
Cracker’s eyes darkened, his grin disappearing. “Kill her,” he commanded, his voice cold and deadly.
As the two biscuit soldiers lunged at me, their swords gleaming in the sunlight, I leaped into the air, dodging their attack with ease. While suspended mid-air, I tightened my grip on my sword and swung it with precision, summoning the power imbued within.
"King, I hope this is what you had in mind when teaching me this technique," I whispered to myself, my heart pounding with adrenaline.
"Ice Fang!" I shouted, feeling the blade's cold energy surge forward. A wave of sharp, icy spikes shot out from my sword, racing toward the biscuit soldiers. The ice spread across their bodies, freezing them solid in a matter of seconds.
Landing gracefully, I straightened up and smirked. The frozen soldiers stood motionless for a moment before they shattered into a thousand pieces with a loud crack, scattering across the battlefield.
My gaze shifted back to Cracker, who was now glaring at me with fury.
"You’re gonna have to do better than biscuits," I said, confident as ever, gripping my sword tighter. Suddenly, a biscuit soldier appeared behind me, catching me off guard. I faltered for a moment but quickly dodged as another one emerged from the ground. Cracker now stood tall, smirking.
"Not bad, you're rather quick on your feet," Cracker remarked. Before I could react, he appeared behind me. "But you left your back wide open!" He swung his sword, but I managed to block his attack, tumbling from the force. I scrambled to my feet, meeting his gaze.
"Is that son of Germa really that important to you?" he taunted.
"You don’t get it," I snapped, standing firm. "Sanji may be a lot of things, but he’s one of a kind. And if the roles were reversed, he would do everything in his power to protect us!"
"Touchy," Cracker sneered, laughing.
"Are we going to talk, or are you actually going to do something?" I shot back, smirking. "Again, not a good look for you, Mr. Overcompensating."
"I’m not too fond of pain," Cracker growled, lunging at me. "But I doubt you can stop me anyway!"
Switching my sword from my right to my left hand, I clenched my left fist and dashed past him, taunting, "Over here!" He spun around, but I dashed once more, using the momentum to strike. Clenching my right hand this time, I punched him in the abdomen, sending him flying a few feet away. I breathed heavily, trying to steady myself.
Cracker recovered quickly, lunging at me again. I raised my sword to block his attack, but his strikes were relentless, forcing me to fall back with each blow.
"You're quite a feisty one, aren’t you?" he said, amused.
"So I've been told," I muttered, struggling to catch my breath.
"Marriage or not," Cracker grinned, "I think I’m going to take my sweet time killing you." He raised his sword, preparing to strike.
Suddenly, a familiar voice rang out. "Don’t you touch her!" Cracker was sent flying, crashing into the ground. Luffy stood there, glaring at him.
"Y/N is part of my crew!" Luffy declared. I let out a sigh of relief, collapsing onto my back for a brief moment.
"Sorry I took so long," Luffy said, flashing me a smile.
I got up and smiled back at him. "It's fine, biscuits all yours."
With a graceful leap, I landed back inside King Baum’s mouth. Nami immediately hugged me tightly.
"You scared me back there!" she exclaimed, her voice trembling.
"Sorry about that, Nami," I said softly, placing my sword behind me and falling to my knees, feeling the weight of the battle finally catch up to me.
"Cocky punk, it does take a lot of nerve to pick a fight with Mama," Cracker sneered, glaring at Luffy.
"Hey Nami, Y/N, have the trees protect you," Luffy said, never taking his eyes off Cracker. Nami nodded confidently, pulling out Lola’s Vivre Card with a grin, knowing it would render the homies powerless.
Cracker’s expression darkened. "Those traitorous trees and your friends are next, of course."
But Luffy wasn’t paying attention to Cracker's threats. Instead, his focus was on the burnt biscuits littering the battlefield. "That smells good," he muttered, his stomach growling.
"They’re still food!" Luffy’s eyes lit up. "Then that makes it easy!"
Nami smirked and pulled out a Weather Egg. "Rain Spark!" she called, unleashing rain from the sky. The biscuit soldiers, hard and durable, quickly softened under the downpour.
"I get it—you soften the biscuits!" I exclaimed, realizing Nami’s plan.
With the biscuits softened, Luffy wasted no time. He began tearing into them, eating each one with fervor as Cracker summoned more.
Cracker clapped his hands, summoning a fresh wave of biscuit soldiers, but they were no match for the hungry pirate. "Yum, these are good," Luffy said, his mouth full, barely slowing down between bites.
"That son of a birch is eating the biscuits!" Kingbaum exclaimed in disbelief. Every time Cracker created new soldiers, Luffy devoured them just as quickly.
"What is with this guy?!" Cracker yelled, frustration evident as Luffy ate the biscuits faster than they could attack.
"Luffy, let's fall back for a sec," Nami suggested, trying to pull him away from the endless biscuits.
"No way, I’m eating them all," Luffy replied stubbornly, his face determined.
Nami smirked, knowing exactly how to get his attention. "What if I told you I can make them more delicious?"
Luffy's eyes widened with excitement. "More delicious?! Let’s go!" He immediately followed us, dragging the biscuit soldiers along with him.
Minutes passed, and Luffy had eaten every biscuit Cracker could produce, leaving the Sweet General visibly rattled.
"Luffy is really putting in the work," I said to Nami, watching in awe as Luffy continued to devour the endless biscuit army.
"When it comes to food, there’s no stopping him," Nami laughed.
"You little punk!" Cracker shouted, incredulous. "How are you still eating?!"
"How much more can his stomach take?" Kingbaum whispered in disbelief. "He’s going to explode!"
"Looks like Cracker is starting to wear out," I said to Nami, eyeing the Sweet Commander as his exhaustion began to show. His movements were sluggish, and the frustration on his face was undeniable.
"As for you, King Baum," Cracker growled, his tone dripping with malice, "Mama is going to be furious about your betrayal."
He turned his attention back to me, his expression twisted with irritation. "This would’ve been over long ago if you hadn’t saved that insufferable woman," he sneered, clearly referring to me.
"My biscuit warriors are supposed to be invincible!" he yelled in frustration, pacing angrily. "And now look! That orange-haired girl reduced them into—into yummy crunchy goodness!" His voice cracked as he tried to keep up his pride.
I couldn’t help but smirk, taking full advantage of his moment of weakness. "Again with the biscuits," I said, stepping forward confidently. "You’re really overcompensating for something, Cracker. It’s okay to admit you can’t perform... well," I added with a teasing smile, placing my hand on the bandana Zoro had given me, now tied around my head. "Maybe it’s just not your day."
Cracker’s face flushed with anger as he gritted his teeth. "You insolent—"
"Stop your whining! This is a pirate battle!" Nami interrupted with a fierce glare. "So what if I found out your weakness? It doesn't mean you can take it out on my underlings!"
I burst out laughing. "Ooooh, underlings! Y'all just got dropped a tier, homies!" I teased, wiping away fake tears of laughter.
"What?! Underlings! Is that what we’re reduced to now?!" one of the homies exclaimed in disbelief.
"Is that a problem?" Nami asked coolly, waving Lola's Vivre Card in her hand.
"No, ma’am!" the homies responded, shrinking back under the power of the card.
Meanwhile, Luffy continued to stuff his face with biscuits, much to Cracker’s horror. "So you’re finally full!" Cracker shouted, desperate to end the madness.
"He’s just getting started!" Nami retorted, though even she was starting to look concerned. Luffy's belly was swollen beyond comprehension.
"Nami, he looks like he’s going to pop," I said, half concerned, half in awe of Luffy’s appetite.
"There’s no way he can eat more!" the homies yelled, eyes wide with shock.
"I don’t need you to throw up to win this!" Cracker bellowed, rushing toward Luffy with his sword raised. "I’ll slice you up!"
"Careful, Luffy!" I yelled, gripping my sword.
But Luffy, grinning from ear to ear, was unfazed. "Joke's on you! I’m stuffed with power! Muscle Balloon!" Luffy shouted, inflating his body further by blowing into his arm, swelling to an enormous size.
"What the hell?" Cracker stammered, suddenly backing away, realizing too late what was about to happen.
"Fourth Gear, go!" Luffy declared, his body transforming into an even bigger, more intimidating form. "I call this Tank Man: Stuffed Version!"
Cracker attempted to slash at Luffy, but his attack did nothing to the hulking form. "You’ve pushed me over the edge! It’s over—time to die!" Cracker screamed in frustration, trying desperately to land a blow on Luffy.
Suddenly, there was a blinding flash of light. Nami and I shielded our eyes. "Luffy!" we shouted, worried.
When the light faded, Cracker was being sucked into Luffy’s massive form. "Gomu Gomu no Cannonball!" Luffy roared, launching Cracker far into the distance, his biscuit soldiers crumbling into pieces.
"He did it!" Nami and I screamed in unison, hugging each other in excitement.
"Luffy, you alright?" Nami asked as we rushed over to him.
"Uh-huh," he groaned, clearly exhausted but triumphant.
"It looks like you’re shrinking," Nami observed, noticing Luffy’s body deflating slowly.
"That’s because Fourth Gear uses a lot of energy," Luffy explained, his voice tired but still full of satisfaction. He lay back, too full to move.
Suddenly, from behind a tree, Pound stepped out. "So, there you are!" Nami exclaimed.
"Pound! You were hiding this whole time?!" I yelled, shaking my head in disbelief.
"Kind of... I ran away so Cracker wouldn't kill me. I for sure thought you were going to lose," said Pound, rubbing his neck nervously.
"Wow, such faith," I said, rolling my eyes at his bluntness.
"Kind of blunt, don’t you think?" Nami added with a sigh.
"That was scary... but we won!" Nami exclaimed, her face lighting up with a grin as we both laughed and cheered in victory.
We glanced over at King Baum, Pound, and the other homies, who weren't exactly celebrating. "Would it kill you to cheer? We beat one of Big Mom's top fighters, after all!" Nami shouted, hands on her hips.
Pound, still looking frantic, responded, "Listen, you're in much more trouble than before! Once Mama's rage is awakened, there's no stopping her! In other words, you need to get the heck out of here before she finds out what you did to her boys!"
"She can get as mad as she wants; I don’t care! I’m the one who should be mad here!" Luffy grumbled from the ground, still too full to move. "How could Sanji leave without telling us why? All we got is a dumb note!"
"You're right, Captain," I said, feeling the frustration boil up inside me. "I'mma knock some sense into him for writing me that note and saying we were engaged!" My voice was laced with annoyance, fists clenched as I thought about the situation.
Nami smirked at me, her frustration mirroring mine. "Honestly, what was he thinking?" she muttered under her breath.
"We only made it this far using Pudding’s map, and no one has seen Pekoms," said Luffy. "We should have gotten Sanji by now, but he didn’t show up at the coast. I don’t know if they got lost or if this is a trap. Once Sanji gets married, he'll be part of Big Mom's crew, and it'll be too late. We have to get moving!"
Luffy, still struggling to get up from the ground, groaned in determination. "Cracker did say there was a ceremony today." "It’s still morning; we might have enough time to stop them!" Nami said, a glimmer of hope in her voice.
"Hey, tree! You know where the castle is?" Luffy called out.
King Baum hesitated before replying, "Yes…"
"Good, you're carrying me there!" Luffy declared with renewed energy.
"I refus—" King Baum started, but quickly clammed up when Nami pulled out the vivre card with a threatening smile.
"We’re taking Sanji back and stopping your wedding, Y/N," Luffy said firmly, his voice full of resolve.
"Oh, Y/N, here’s your bag," Nami said, suddenly remembering. She handed me my satchel, and I grinned.
"Thanks, Nami," I said, relieved to have it back. I pressed all three gemstones on my sword, watching as it shrunk before placing one of the blades inside the bag, the other securely fastened to my thigh halter.
With a final glance at the others, I gave a confident nod. "Alright, I’m ready."
Sanji POV…
As I entered the chariot, my heart felt heavier with every passing second. My mind raced, torn between the decision I was being forced to make and the things I truly cherished. Everything I loved… it was slipping away. The thought of being married made me sick to my core, but what choice did I have? If I wanted to save my friends... if I wanted to keep Zeff safe… if I wanted to keep y/n safe… I had no other option. This wasn’t just about me anymore.
I clenched my fists, the cursed bracelets around my wrists reminding me that my hands—my livelihood—were at stake. No matter what I wanted, one wrong move, and they’d be gone forever. I couldn’t even protect Y/N. I couldn’t stop Ichiji from marrying her. The memories flooded in—the Baratie, Zeff’s tough love, the day I met Y/N, her smile, our adventures with the crew. Every moment felt so distant now, as if they were slipping from my grasp, just like her.
Stuck between Niji and Yonji, I couldn’t move. Their smug faces on either side of me made my blood boil. I knew if I tried to make a break for it, they'd be on me in seconds, and the bracelets would do the rest of the damage. They’d already proven that.
Y/N POV..
"Well, we’re finally out of that hell of a forest," I sighed, resting my back on King Baum’s head as we moved through the open area. Luffy was resting as well, while Nami sat beside him, trying to catch her breath.
Suddenly, a familiar voice called out, "Nami! You guys! Can you hear me?!"
"It’s Chopper!" Nami exclaimed, holding up a small glass shard, which Chopper's voice came through. Relief and tension both surged through me. At least Chopper was okay.
"We’ve got a big problem! It’s Sanji! He’s heading to Big Mom right now!" Chopper’s frantic words echoed.
“Crap!” I muttered under my breath, heart pounding.
"We’re heading to the castle too!" Nami responded quickly, trying to gather more information.
"What about Brook and Pedro?" I asked, the worry creeping in. We hadn’t heard from them at all, and I couldn’t help but feel a gnawing anxiety over their safety.
"We haven’t heard from them at all," Nami added, glancing at me with shared concern.
Suddenly, Chopper’s voice broke into panic, his screams growing louder before the shard shattered in Nami’s hand.
“Is everything alright, Chopper?!” I yelled, but it was no use. The shard was broken. I stared at the pieces on the ground, feeling helpless. "How are they going to communicate now?" I muttered.
Nami knelt down, picking up one of the broken shards. "I hope they’re okay," she whispered softly.
"Poor Sanji..." Nami added, her voice filled with sorrow.
“These bastards have got another thing coming, that’s for sure,” I said through gritted teeth, clenching my right hand as I felt the familiar red electricity surge through me, a fierce wave of anger rolling over me.
Luffy, now back to normal size after shrinking down, muttered in his sleep, "Give me meat."
Nami and I exchanged amused glances. "Meat?!" I chuckled, shaking my head. "He would have meat dreams after eating those biscuits."
"Hey there! You’ve got good luck!" King Baum’s voice broke through, as he picked up speed.
"Why is that?" Nami asked.
"There they are," King Baum replied, pointing ahead.
"What?!" I exclaimed, my heart racing as I leaned forward.
"That’s Germa 66," he said, his voice filled with urgency.
“Is Sanji with them?” Luffy asked as he suddenly woke up, leaping off King Baum’s head and running ahead.
“Luffy, wait!” Nami yelled, but it was too late. He was already off.
"Sanji!" Nami and I shouted, waving as we saw him up ahead.
But just as we got close, Sanji… he kicked Luffy.
"Sanji, what the heck’s gotten into you?!" Nami screamed, her voice filled with shock.
"Sanji..." I whispered, my heart dropping as I stared at him in disbelief. What had happened to him? Why was he acting this way?
"Leave my sight, you bunch of lowlife pirates," Sanji spat, his voice cold and unrecognizable. "Make no mistake, I’ve always been a Vinsmoke, which makes me a prince of the Germa Kingdom."
I tensed, my mind reeling. "What the hell is he saying?" I whispered, feeling both disbelief and frustration boiling inside me. Both Nami and I stood frozen, watching the scene unfold before us.
Sanji continued, "I kept all of this a secret because knowing this would’ve made things harder for you."
I couldn’t take it anymore. Standing up, I slowly took off Zoro’s bandana from my head, folding it carefully and placing it into my satchel, along with one of my blades and my sword. "Nami, I leave this with you," I said, my voice steady but filled with determination.
“What are you…?” Nami looked at me, confused and concerned.
"Just make sure no one takes it, please. And if they do… well, they’ll be in for a surprise," I added, smirking slightly despite the weight of the moment. "Can you do that for me, Nami?" I asked, looking at her intently, knowing this was something important for me to trust her with.
Nami nodded, still looking unsure of my next move. Before I could even say anything more, Sanji's voice cut through the air like a blade.
"It’s noble of you to come all the way over here and get me, but you’ve wasted your time. I’m not leaving. I’ve already forgotten your name," he said coldly, every word sharper than the last.
His words felt like a punch in the gut, fueling the anger already burning inside me. My heart pounded in my chest, disbelief turning to frustration and rage. This wasn’t the Sanji I knew, the Sanji who cared about his friends, about us.
“What a liar,” Luffy yelled, his frustration matching my own. “You think I’m gonna buy that?!”
The tension in the air was suffocating, and I could feel the red electricity sparking through my fingertips again. My patience was at its limit. Sanji's words cut deep, but I wasn’t about to let him walk away so easily, especially not with those lies.
Sanji POV… (Play La Media Vuelta By Luis Miguel here)
Stuck between Niji and Yonji, I felt like I was trapped in a cage. Their smug expressions were infuriating, and my blood boiled at the sight of them. I knew any attempt to escape would be met with swift punishment, and these cursed bracelets would make sure of that. Just the thought of them made my fists clench tighter.
Suddenly, a familiar voice broke through the chaos. "Hey! Sanji!" I turned my head, eyes widening in disbelief as I saw Luffy charging forward with with a giant tree.
“that idiot managed to make it to Whole Cake Island?! “What’s with that tree?!” yelled Yonji, incredulous.
"Sanji!" Nami called out, waving her arms with a look of determination. “We finally made it! I was afraid we’d be too late!”
Her voice sent a jolt of relief through me, but it quickly faded when I noticed the way Niji and Yonji's eyes lit up at the sight of y/n. Their smugness only grew, and the protective instinct within me flared.
“There’s my beloved,” Ichiji said, his eyes heart-shaped as he gazed at Y/N, which made my blood boil even more.
“Ichiji, your wife’s here,” Yonji added, still eyeing Y/N, and I wanted nothing more than to gauge their eyes out for the way they were looking at her.
The situation felt like a ticking time bomb. I had to keep them safe. “What are they doing here?” I muttered, panic rising in my throat.
“How amusing, that’s Straw Hat Luffy,” Judge remarked, his voice dripping with disdain.
“Hey! We came here to pick you up!” Luffy shouted, tipping over the calicoat as he stumbled. “You said you’d be back, but I didn’t want to wait. You know me. I was going to come with just Y/N, but it turned into a whole thing!”
My mind raced, battling between relief and fear. I couldn’t let them get caught up in this mess. I glanced at my cuffs, knowing that if I made a break for it, they would explode, and I couldn’t risk that.
“Zoro took a team and headed to the land of Wano,” Luffy continued, unaware of the suffocating tension surrounding us.
“And what’s this I hear? You’re engaged to Y/N! Why didn’t you tell us? We could have done something back at the Sunny!” His words hit me like a wave of ice-cold water.
Luffy, Y/N, Nami… please forgive me… I thought, the weight of my helplessness crushing down on me. In an instant, I made my decision. I couldn’t let them get any closer to this danger.
“Sanji, what the heck’s gotten into you?!” Nami shouted, disbelief etched across her face. I could see the hurt in her eyes, and it twisted my heart even more.
“Leave my sight, you bunch of low-class pirates!” I spat, my voice heavy with disdain. “Make no mistake, I’ve always been a Vinsmoke, which makes me a prince of the Germa Kingdom. I kept all this a secret from you because knowing this would have made things harder.”
Luffy’s stunned expression made me feel even worse, but I pushed on. “As you can see, there’s a clear difference in our standings now. If I stay here, I’ll have all the servants, soldiers, and riches I could ever dream of.” Each word felt like daggers in my chest, but I had to make them believe I meant it.
The way Nami flinched at my words was like a punch to the gut. I was losing them—losing everything I cared about. But I had to protect them. I had to protect Y/N, even if it meant sacrificing my own heart.
“Sanji…” I heard Y/N whisper, her voice cracking as she processed my betrayal. I couldn't look at her; I was afraid of what I might see. Would she understand? Would she forgive me for playing this role?
Inside, I was trembling. I was stuck between wanting to protect them and the cold, harsh reality of my situation. “If I stay here, I’ll have all the servants, soldiers, and riches I could ever dream of. What more could I want?” I sneered, my voice laced with disdain.
“So I could go to that crappy ship with you and your friends and go on a dumb adventure,” I sneered, forcing a smirk that felt more like a grimace. “Or I can stay right here and marry the beautiful daughter of a wealthy and powerful emperor. Now, which of those would make me happier?” I took a deep breath, preparing to drive the final nail in the coffin. “Here, I’ll spell it out: I just wrote that note to get you off my back.”
“Yeah? Well, what about my note, Sanji?” The voice was unmistakable, cutting through the tension like a knife. Y/N came down from the tree, her eyes ablaze with anger. If looks could kill, I’d be dead by now.
“You wrote some bold statements on my note. Here, I even have it.” She pulled it out from her chest, and my heart sank. I couldn’t bear to look at her, knowing I had shattered everything.
As she stood there, I took in her appearance for the first time. Behind the rage, I could see the signs of her struggle. Her white dress was covered in dirt, her sleeve torn off, and deep scratches marred her legs. But she still looked beautiful—my princess, my everything.
Y/N, I’m sorry for what I’m about to say,” I thought, wishing I could take it all back. I wanted to hold her, to tell her it was all a lie, that I would never marry Pudding. I wanted to confess how I felt about her, to explain that her reckless plan—her being in Dressrosa and me sailing here—almost cost me my sanity.
I wanted to tell her she was the only one I wanted to be with, that I regretted every moment I didn’t fight for her. I wanted to prove I was the man she deserved, especially after that disaster back on Fishman Island.
But instead, I clenched my fists and said the words that would cut deeper than any blade: “You mean absolutely nothing to me.”
Every syllable felt like poison as it left my mouth, and I hated myself for it. I saw her expression shift, hurt washing over her features. It was a look I knew I’d never forget. But I had to keep my distance, keep her safe. And as much as it broke me, I had to see this through.
“You mean absolutely nothing to me,” I repeated, my voice cold, the words feeling like shards of glass in my throat.
Nami’s voice cut through the tension like a lightning bolt. “Say the truth, Sanji! That wasn’t what you said to Pudding!”
The air around us grew thick with tension, and I could see Y/N tense at Nami’s words, her eyes flashing with uncertainty and pain.
“I told her that I didn’t care about Y/N,” I said, each word a betrayal I loathed, “and that I didn’t love her.” I hated myself for saying it, each syllable a dagger to my own heart.
“Stop lying!” Nami shouted, her voice filled with desperation.
I glanced over at Y/N, and she raised her hand, turning toward Nami with a broken smile. “It’s okay, Nami,” she said softly, but I could see the pain etched in her features, the tears threatening to spill over. I wanted to wipe them away, to tell her that none of it was true, that I did love her, that she was my princess, and that we were engaged. I didn’t care if that part was a lie; the love I felt for Y/N was as real as the air I breathed.
“You know,” she began, her voice steady but strained, “you can insult me or try to convince me that what you’re saying is true, but I want you to look me in the eyes and tell me.” Her gaze locked onto mine, fierce and unwavering. “Tell me you want this… tell me you hate me! I want to hear it from your mouth! Tell me you hate me, obliterate me with your words; I don’t care! Tell me that I mean nothing to you once again, that you want to be with Pudding and live that fantasy of a life. Tell me that you found a love that understands you and loves you more than anyone! And if that is truly what you want, and you can look me in the eyes and say it, I will turn around, and I will be gone with the sun by dusk.”
Her words hit me like a tsunami, each one crashing into me, suffocating me. I opened my mouth to respond, but all I could manage was, “I…”
“Tell me now!” she yelled, the pain in her voice laced with desperation as her body was surrounded by an aura of red electricity, crackling in tune with her emotions.
What is this? I thought, my heart racing. I was caught in the whirlwind of my own lies and her heartache, a maelstrom that threatened to tear us both apart. Her gaze pierced through me, and I could see the flicker of hope in her eyes as she waited for my response, and it crushed me further.
I was losing her, losing everything, and yet, here I was, shackled by my own choices, unable to break free. I wanted to scream the truth, to confess everything—to tell her how much she meant to me. But the weight of my lies held me down, suffocating the words in my throat. I was drowning in the consequences of my actions.
The electricity around Y/N crackled even more fiercely, her hurt and fury tangible. Every second I remained silent was another moment she drifted further away from me. This was it. This was the moment she would leave if I didn’t speak the truth.
But I couldn’t. My lips trembled, but the words never came.

— EVERYTHING WAS GOING wrong.
You, Lockwood, Lucy and George had gotten separated a few minutes after entering the mansion. Out of the four ghosts, you’d gotten stuck with the Wraith on the first floor, you knew that George was fighting a Poltergeist on the ground floor, but you had no idea about Lucy and Lockwood and you were worried sick.
The Wraith looked horrible, worse than you’d ever seen. Worms crawled out of its nose and eyes, the flesh was peeling off its bones and the entire corpse seemed disfigured. Added to that, its source seemed to have vanished into thin air. You’d searched every single room already but you just couldn’t figure it out. You then stumbled upon a door that you’d missed earlier and went to open it, but as you touched the doorknob, the door flung open and the Wraith, which had previously disappeared, flew out.
You quickly pulled out your rapier in an attempt to defend yourself, but the Wraith surged towards you with a loud screech, making you fall to the ground and your rapier clattered into a dark corner. You scrambled backwards and reached for the chains you brought, only to remember that you’d given them to George, as the Poltergeist had stolen his.
With nothing left to defend yourself and the Wraith continuing to approach you angrily, you started to panic. Your back hit a wall and your eyes widened as you slowly felt your muscles grow heavier.
You were ghostlocked.
Your eyes flickered around the room and the Wraith was fast approaching. “LOCKWOOD!” you cried out instinctively, as it wouldn’t be long before you couldn’t anymore. “LOCKWOOD?! ANYONE?! IT FUCKING LOCKED ME!” you continued screaming, terrified of what was coming. “LOCKWOOD?!” you managed to shout one more time before you were overtaken by a feeling of dread and dispair and completely froze.
Images started flashing through your head. They were memories, but they weren’t yours, at least not that you’d remembered. A young woman and a man were tucked away on a loveseat in an attic, looking at something in the man’s hand. It turned out to be a locket, that was undeniably beautiful and looked like it had cost a fortune. The rest of the images flashed by too quickly for you to process what you were, making you feel extremely dizzy, but you heard screams and cries of agony.
Then other images flashed by, they were your friends, and they were dead. You first saw George, you only recognised him because of the cracked glasses next to him, the rest was unrecognisable. You then saw Lucy, who literally looked frozen, her skin was pale and her lips were blue. Finally, you saw Lockwood, he had blood pouring out of his eyes, nose and mouth and his clothes were soaked with the stuff too.
You tried to think of other things, but your mind refused to coorporate, completely controlled by the Wraith. Speaking of which, you saw it in front of you again, laughing maliciously and reaching out its hand to ghost touch you. This is the end, you thought.
Until it wasn’t.
A rapier flew through the ghost, making it temporarily disappear. Your muscles suddenly started working again and you collapsed onto the ground, breathing rapidly. “Y/N! Please tell me you haven’t been ghost touched,” Lockwood worried as he kneeled down next to you, taking your face into his hands. “Lockwood,” you whispered as you fingers slid into his hair, making sure that what the Wraith had shown wasn’t real. “It’s okay, I’m here,” Lockwood reassured you as he hugged you tightly, “you’re okay.”
“Y/N!” Lucy and George ran up the stairs and joined the embrace. You looked at them and while they did look quite beaten up, it was nowhere near as bad as you’d seen a few minutes prior, so you sighed with relief. “We still need to conceal the source!” you gasped. “Do you know what it is?”
“I think it’s a locket in the attic,” you groaned in pain as you sat upright against the wall. “I got it,” Lucy said determinedly and she dashed up the stairs. Lockwood grabbed your hand and pulled you up, wrapping his arm around your torso for support and George followed suite.
“That bitch is fucking dead,” Lucy deadpanned as she came back down from the attic, “we really need to get out of here.”
— THAT NIGHT, YOU were tossing and turning in an attempt to fall asleep, but you couldn’t get the images of your dead friends out of your head. After checking the time for the thirtieth time, you gave up and got up. You emerged out of your room and tiptoed down the corridor, until you reached Lockwood’s room and knocked, patiently waiting to see if he heard you. A soft, tired hum coming from the room indicated that he did, so you slowly opened the door and entered his bedroom. “Lockwood?” you whispered, “can I please stay with you? I’m really fucking terrified at the moment.”
“Of course, c’mere,” he replied, opening his arms and the blanket for you. You crawled into bed next to him and placed your head on his bare chest, as he carefully draped the blanket over you and wrapped his arms around you, engulfing you in warmth. “Are you alright?” he asked softly. “I’ll live, but that ghost showed me some fucked up stuff.”
“Wanna talk about it?”
“Not now, I will in the morning. I just wanna sleep right now.”
"That's okay, but know that you're safe here. l've got you," Lockwood muttered as he rubbed comforting shapes onto your back. "I know, thank you," you smiled as you nuzzled your face further into the comfort of Lockwood's body. "Always, sweet dreams" Lockwood replied and the two of you drifted off to a nice, peaceful sleep.

Hey! I don't know if this is the proper format (still kind of new here) but I'm sending in this prompt for an Alfred × Reader fic. There's this idea for him that was stuck in my head a couple months ago. So…
It's set either S2 or S3 but it fits better in S3 or the break between 2 and 3. Alfred is really ill which isn't unusual for him, but this time he's taking a lot longer for him to heal and he's deteriorating more seriously than he normally would.
People in court start looking around for new healers and remedies. Alfred is also kind of desperate because he doesn't want to die before England is complete or Edward is ready to take over.
Reader, who is a healer, comes to court with the intention of helping Alfred. She's neither Dane nor Saxon, if you're comfortable with it she could be of Asian or African origin/descent (eg Father Benedict in S5). She's either Muslim or Christian, either way she's well read and a bit of a scholar (if you've seen Vikings: Valhalla S2, there's a female character that might ring a bell). She's also able to reassure him, like Iseult, that she's treating him with nature's bounty and nothing sinister.
Because she's a scholar (also maybe a Christian), Alfred is comfortable that she's not practicing witchcraft so this helps him accept her more easily. It also helps them bond and they become really close friends over the course of the months she spends treating him. They have fun banter and he's able to feel like Alfred, the man around her instead of King Alfred. Then he realizes that he has feelings for her.
At this point it could go any way really. Does Aelswith factor into it much or not? Does reader reciprocate his feelings or not? If she does, would she be comfortable giving into them and being a mistress? Is Aelswith even in the picture or is this a slight AU? Do they have a sad, happy or bittersweet ending? Idk
For extra spice, Reader could also be good friends with Uhtred or Finan which makes Alfred a little jealous but also sad because he thinks that she'd probably prefer the charming, handsome, potentially single, strapping man to whatever measly affection he could offer her.
Ideally, it would be fluff or smut but whatever you're comfortable writing is fine! Sorry if this is too long but I wanted to be as clear as possible 😅. I also understand if this is too much for a oneshot and you forego the idea entirely
Alfred the great x POC! Fem! Reader

A/N: Heyy, so sorry this took literally eons to finally write. Thank you for your lovely request and also thank u for your patience <3 Hope you enjoy what I've done with your idea, and dw this will have another part where I'll explore their chemistry more. I watched a bunch of Alfred edits to get in the mood and ngl I'm lowkey in love with him now lmfao.
Disclaimer: there might be some (a lot) historical discrepancies because I didn't line up the dates exactly but I did find out that the Golden Age of Islam overlapped significantly with the dates that the last kingdom spans so the reader is a prominent scholar from Baghdad. Also, Aelswith is dead (I'm sorry T_T) cuz I don't love a cheating trope even when it is sort of historically accurate. So we have single dad Alfred lol.
The only heaven I'll be sent to is when I'm alone with you
Entering King Alfred's throne room, your senses were immediately awakened by the unfamiliar sights, sounds, and scents of Wessex. The room itself was a stark contrast to the opulent palaces and grand courts of Baghdad that you were accustomed to. The room was spacious, yet its decoration was surprisingly humble and simple, adorned with rough-hewn wooden beams and modest tapestries that depicted various scenes of English myths and prominent events. With a flash of triumph, you found that you recognized some of them from your studies of the English culture. A faint scent of burning wood from the hearth permeated the air with an earthy aroma.
You observed the nobles in attendance, or the ealdormen as they were called here, their attire markedly different from the splendid silks and jewels of Baghdad's court. Here, the people wore simpler garments made of sturdy wool and linen, in the dark colours of the earth as opposed to the the vibrant clothing the people of your home favoured.
Your gaze then turned to the throne itself. It was a robust wooden chair, its design austere yet imposing, lacking the grandeur of the magnificent thrones you had imagined English kings liked to occupy. King Alfred's regal figure atop the throne created a dignified presence. His clothing, matched the style of his ealdormen, long simple robes of a dull grey. The seat next to him was empty and you briefly wondered about his family. The chronicles you had read stated that a king's wife usually took her place beside him when he held court, but you did not know much of Alfred's wife.
Your fingers itched for your writing instruments, yearning to document all your observations and the happenings of the court. You seldom went anywhere without them, but now they remained tucked away in your satchel as you waited for the king to acknowledge your presence. You knew he had seen you enter, his eyes briefly meeting yours, even as he conversed with his ealdormen. Eventually, your thoughts began to wander and you couldn't help but reflect on the stark contrast between the scorching heat of Baghdad and the chilly bite of autumn in Wessex. your flowing linen tunic and trousers, so comfortable in the sweltering desert of your homeland, felt inadequate against the cold English air that seeped through the cracks in the stone walls.
You discreetly rubbed your tingling fingertips together, trying to generate some warmth, as the fire blazing at the hearth did little to banish the chill that had settled in your bones. Your longing for the warmth of the caliphate's sun was keenly felt in this unfamiliar and frigid environment.
Impatience welled up within you as you glanced around the chamber, noting the courtiers' stoic expressions and hushed conversations. The king's deliberations seemed to stretch on endlessly, and you found yourself yearning for the moment when you could finally present your credentials and seek the audience you had travelled so far to obtain.
King Alfred's voice finally called out your name, his voice echoing through the chamber.
"Esteemed lady, I welcome you to the court of Wessex."
The ealdormen, accustomed to the formalities of their court, were taken aback when you did not bow or curtsy as was expected. Instead, you offered a polite smile and tipped your head in a gesture of respect.
A murmur of surprise and disapproval rippled through the assembled courtiers. Some whispered that your behaviour was disrespectful, a breach of protocol. They exchanged curious glances, wondering how their king would react to this departure from tradition.
However, King Alfred took no offence. With a gracious nod, he signalled for you to speak.
"Thank you, your grace. It is an honour to be here."
Your accent was soft, lending your words a foreign intonation, and each syllable was carefully enunciated. You had spent months learning the language, and you weren't about to embarrass yourself now by messing up your pronunciation.
"I extend my deepest gratitude to you for undertaking such a long and arduous journey at my request. I hope the discomfort of the voyage did not prove too taxing."
"Your Majesty," you replied, "it was a journey of great honour for me, and I hope to make myself useful here."
King Alfred nodded appreciatively and then turned to a servant standing nearby.
"Please, ensure that the lady is provided with comfortable quarters and all the amenities she may require during your stay in Wessex."
The servant bowed in acknowledgment and stepped forward to escort you to your residence within the royal palace. You thanked the king once more for his hospitality and assistance before following the servant out of the chamber.
As you left the throne room, your observant nature couldn't help but take note of King Alfred's condition. Despite his attempt to appear at ease in his chair, you had perceived the subtle signs of discomfort. His favouring of his left side, indicating pain or injury to his right, and the unusually pallid complexion for an Englishman raised concerns in your scholarly mind. That was your purpose, after all, to try to diagnose and hopefully cure the ailing monarch.
Just when you were gone, the noblemen of King Alfred's court wasted no time in flocking around him, their curiosity piqued by the arrival of the enigmatic woman. They bombarded the king with questions and voiced their concerns about the unfamiliar customs you had displayed.
One nobleman, his voice dripping with skepticism, remarked, "Your Majesty, did you see that? She didn't bow or curtsy as she should have! It's as if she has no respect for you."
Another, eyeing your unusual attire and complexion, chimed in, "And her clothing, Your Grace! It's unlike anything I've ever seen in Wessex. She's clearly not from anywhere near England. What could she possibly want here?"
The murmurs of disapproval and suspicion spread among the courtiers, as they exchanged perplexed glances. To them, your arrival was an anomaly, and your behaviour had raised eyebrows and questions.
King Alfred, his countenance calm and measured, raised a hand to quell the growing unease.
"I understand your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about" he began, addressing their concerns. "The lady you have just met is a prominent figure from Baghdad. She has travelled from a distant land to be here and she is not here to defy our traditions or customs. She is a scholar seeking to further her studies in Wessex. Her journey to our land is a great honour, as it reflects the recognition of the importance of our own intellectual pursuits."
His tone left no room for further skepticism. He also did not mention the other reason you were there, as he did not wish to reveal the truth of his declining health. As the nobles filtered out of the room, somewhat still unsatisfied by his answer, Alfred couldn't help but remain still, his mind going over the recent developments. When he had first written to the Abbasid Caliphate to request that he be allowed to host a medical scholar at his court, he had to admit he was not expecting a woman, and certainly not one so beautiful.
The next day, Alfred summoned you to his private chambers for a consultation regarding his health. As you entered the room, he couldn't help but notice the change in your attire. Gone was the flowing linen tunic and trousers, replaced by a sturdier, more practical woollen English dress. The deep blue gauzy veil, however, was still draped around your head and flowed down your back.
The English clothing seemed to complement you, accentuating your elegance in a way that was both unexpected and captivating. The king, not for the first time, found himself admiring you, though he kept such thoughts to himself, mindful of the formal context of your meeting.
You, ever the professional scholar, maintained a polite and formal distance as you began your examination of the king. You inquired about his symptoms, listening attentively to his description of the pain and discomfort he had been experiencing. Your deep knowledge and keen medical insight were evident as you asked probing questions and conducted a thorough assessment.
After a careful evaluation, you began to discuss your observations and your initial diagnosis with the king. You explained your thoughts on the potential causes of his discomfort and suggested a course of treatment. King Alfred was grateful for your expertise, and couldn't help but be struck by your intellect. He had a thirst for knowledge himself and he appreciated the quality in others when he saw it. In you he recognized a passion for learning and documentation, one he held himself as well. After the medical examination, he extended an invitation to you to remain in his chambers and share a cup of tea. Initially hesitant, you eventually agreed, recognizing the value of the opportunity to engage in conversation with the English monarch.
Seated in the warmth of the chamber, Alfred began to share with you the rich history of England, its struggles, its triumphs, and its cultural tapestry. He spoke of the challenges of the Anglo-Saxon period, the battles against the Danes, and the enduring spirit of the English people. As he narrated the history of his land, Alfred couldn't help but notice how your eyes lit up with a deep fascination, even though you attempted to contain your enthusiasm. Your questions flowed naturally as you probed deeper into the history and culture of Wessex. You asked about the Anglo-Saxon kings, the legends and folklore, and the development of the English language.
You kept diligent notes in your little notebook, your hand swiftly capturing every detail of the conversation. Your keen intellect and insatiable thirst for knowledge were evident, and your genuine interest in Alfred's words warmed his heart. It had been quite a while since anyone had paid such rapt attention to what he was saying, and he found himself rejuvenated by your exchange.
As a lull settled over your conversation, Alfred's curiosity got the better of him. With a twinkle in his eye, he leaned forward and said, "My lady, I must admit, I'm quite curious about the contents of that notebook of yours. What sort of information have you been documenting to take back to your homeland?"
You smiled, your demeanour more relaxed than when you had first come in, "Your Majesty, you need not worry. I promise you, I haven't written that the English are fire-breathing trolls."
Alfred felt a grin tug at his lips, but he suppressed the urge, keeping his hands folded placidly over his stomach.
"Well, you know, if we English could breathe fire, we might have an easier time dealing with our enemies!"
"There is a trick that performers back home use, to give the illusion of breathing fire. The science behind it is quite fascinating. Perhaps I shall explain it to you sometime."
"Ah yes my lady, you have filled your book with our tales, but have yet to share yours. Do you have any secrets from the East that you'd like to share with us humble English folk?"
You couldn't help but smirk at his words, "I'm afraid some secrets are best left in the lands where they belong, your grace. We wouldn't want you to start brewing Persian tea incorrectly, now would we?"
"I doubt it can compete with our tried and trusted English tea."
"You only think that way because you haven't tried Persian tea yet. Trust me, once you have, there's no going back."
"I suppose you make a fair point! Although, I must admit, the thought of trying to decipher the intricacies of Arabic calligraphy is rather tempting."
You paused, your light-hearted nature urging you to make another joke but you strictly reminded yourself that you were in the presence of a king. It would do you no good to offend him with an ill-timed statement. You were already apprehensive about your earlier comment about the Persian tea, although you were grateful that he chose not to see it as a slight. As if sensing your hesitation, Alfred sat up in bed and leaned forward.
"You are free to speak my lady, do not hold yourself back on my account," he reassured with a wave of his hand.
Still, you settled for a polite smile, "I was just going to remark on the difficulty of calligraphy but I am certain that if anyone would be able to master it, it'd be you, Your Majesty."
A small furrow appeared between Alfred's brows as if that wasn't the answer he expected from you. He could see you pulling away, going back to your polite, almost cold professionalism. Eventually, he nodded thoughtfully at you.
"I would be ever so grateful if you could perhaps show me the technique someday, my lady."
You breathed a sigh of relief and nodded with a small smile.
"Now, about that notebook, if you would allow me to take a look?"
"Ah yes, of course," you handed over the small leatherbound journal to him quickly without further complaints. "But I must warn you, my handwriting isn't at its most legible."
Alfred accepted the notebook with a nod of appreciation. As he leafed through its pages, his eyes quickly fell upon your meticulously written notes. Your thoughts were inscribed in your native language and although he did not understand the words, your elegant looping script impressed him.
He raised an eyebrow and turned toward you expectantly, pointing toward a specific passage, "And what does this say right here?"
"It is a description of the English weather, your grace."
Alfred leaned closer, his finger tracing the inked lines on the page.
"Ah yes, English weather. It was raining when you first arrived, wasn't it? What do you think of our English rain then, my lady? I've heard it has a certain charm."
"Well, I believe your rain can be quite persuasive. It insists that one should stay indoors and read a good book."
Alfred's lips twitched again, fighting back a smile. It seemed that the new scholar shared his interests as well.
"A wise perspective, indeed. Perhaps our English rain is simply encouraging a literary lifestyle."
"Yes, your grace."
"My lady" he continued, a note of genuine admiration in his voice, "I must tell you, your handwriting is truly exquisite. Tell me, just how many languages have you learned."
You felt a blush creep into your cheeks at his compliment. There was something sincere in his eyes as he waited for your answer, looking at you like your accomplishments were the greatest thing in the world. You opened your mouth to respond but then a loud knock sounded on the door and a priest entered.
"Yes, Father Beocca," Alfred seemed irritated at the interruption.
Father Beocca's eyes glanced from you to the king, and despite the fact that you were sitting in a chair quite some distance away from him, you felt a strange flash of awkward embarrassment run through you.
"My king, Uhtred is here to see you," the priest finally stated.
Alfred sighed and turned toward you with an apologetic smile, "Shall we continue our conversation another time then, my lady? It seems that I am needed elsewhere."
"Yes, of course, your grace."
You quickly took your leave then, choosing to take one of your books and go read in the garden. You had just settled yourself into a comfortable nook when loud boisterous laughter caught your attention. Turning your gaze towards the source of the commotion, you spotted three men, two of whom were dressed in the attire of warriors. Their boisterous behaviour was evident as they playfully teased and shoved the third man, who was clad in robes that resembled those of Father Beocca. However, a leather breastplate adorned his monk's attire, hinting at a surprising duality of roles – priest and fighter.
The two warriors were engaged in a lively exchange with the monk, their laughter echoing through the garden. You couldn't help but smile as you watched the scene unfold. Their camaraderie and jesting reminded you of the Caliph's sons back home, when your father would take you to visit the palace.
One of the warriors, a bearded man with broad shoulders and a hearty laugh, clapped the monk on the back.
"Come now, Osferth," he said between chuckles, "surely your devotion to the Lord could use a bit of levity now and then."
The monk, Osferth, grinned in response, "Aye Finan, it is said that laughter is the best medicine, is it not?"
The other warrior, a lean and quick-witted fellow, joined in with a jest, "Well, if that's the case, Osferth, then Finan here will live to be a hundred and you shall die tomorrow!"
Osferth elbowed the tall man in the ribs, "Not before I knock some sense into you Sihtric."
Their jovial banter and good-natured teasing continued, creating a lively atmosphere in the serene garden. You couldn't help but be amused by their antics and the familiarity of their interactions, watching them for quite some time.
The trio of men eventually noticed your presence, and with their laughter dying down, they made their way over to you. As they approached, their expressions revealed a mixture of curiosity and surprise.
The broad-shouldered warrior, Finan, whose eyes twinkled with mischief, was the first to speak. "Well, what have we here?" he said with a grin. "A traveller from foreign shores, I presume?"
"Yes, I am from Baghdad, my lord."
The warrior, clearly taken with you, couldn't resist a flirtatious remark.
"Lady, I must say, you are a wondrous addition to our English garden."
You snorted at his attempt at flirtation.
Meanwhile, the monk with the leather breastplate maintained a more respectful demeanour.
"Greetings, lady, I am Osferth," he said with a nod. "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. May I ask what brings you to our humble Wessex?"
You found the monk's polite curiosity quite refreshing.
"Greetings to you too, Osferth. I've come to further my studies here. Wessex has much to offer in terms of knowledge and history, and I hope to make the most of it."
"Well, my lady, if ever you wish to explore our English shores, I'd be delighted to be your guide," it was Finan who spoke again and you could not help but laugh at his words.
"Thank you, kind sir. Your offer is most gracious."
“Call me Finan, my lady.”
Your change continued as they asked more about you and your hometown and you asked about theirs. You found out that they were a band of warriors who followed some fellow named Uhtred, the very same Uhtred who was currently speaking to King Alfred. As the conversation flowed, you discovered that you enjoyed speaking with these men. Their witty banter and friendly demeanour made you feel at ease, despite the foreignness of your surroundings. You shared stories of your travels, your scholarly pursuits, and the cultural nuances of your homeland. The men, in turn, regaled you with tales of their own adventures.
As you continued to engage in playful banter with the warriors, you remained oblivious to the presence of King Alfred and Uhtred, who had ventured outside and were observing the lively exchange.
Eventually, with a confident stride, Uhtred made his way toward your group to make his introduction and Father Beocca approached the king with his concerns.
"Your Majesty," he began cautiously, "I must admit, I have reservations about entrusting your treatment to a foreigner, especially one from so distant a land. We must be cautious of witchcraft and unfamiliar practices."
King Alfred turned to Father Beocca, his expression thoughtful but resolute, "Father Beocca, I understand your concerns, but the lady is no ordinary foreigner. She hails from Baghdad, a city known for its innovative medical advancements and a center of learning in the Islamic world. She comes as one of their finest scholars, sent by the Caliph himself."
"I see, your grace."
"I have read extensively about the great Islamic civilization, and its contributions to science, medicine, and philosophy. I believe we have much to learn from her, not only about medicine but also about fostering understanding and collaboration between our cultures. They have succeeded in uniting several lands under one caliphate, so perhaps we might learn how we may unite England as well."
Father Beocca, though still cautious, nodded in understanding, "Your Majesty, I trust your judgment. It is my fervent hope that the lady's presence here will indeed lead to beneficial knowledge and that she will uphold the values of wisdom and compassion."
"Thank you, Father Beocca. Let us have faith in this unique opportunity for cultural exchange and enlightenment. Her presence is a bridge between worlds, and I believe it is a path toward a brighter future for Wessex."
Over the course of the next few months, you became familiar with the routines of the Wessex palace. King Alfred allowed you to shadow him throughout his day, believing that you could provide valuable insights into his own activities. It was a decision that would lead to a profound connection between the two of you.
Every day, you diligently prepared poultices and medications for the king’s ailments, and often you’d recite the recipe to him and explain the purpose of each herb and plant that went into it. He found that he trusted you completely but he was still comforted by your transparency and the efforts you took to explain things to him. Sometimes he would insist on accompanying you on walks and you would point out the various native English plants and their counterparts back home. You also documented the king's activities and observations in your notebook. At times, he would request to see your notebook, often just to admire the beauty of your script. He marvelled at the graceful lines of your writing, and the intricate calligraphy that adorned the pages.
Your interactions went beyond the formalities of your initial meeting. King Alfred, always eager to learn, would occasionally ask you to translate certain passages from your native language and over time, your bond grew stronger. King Alfred began to look forward to each day, eager to see your bright and colourful veil, a striking contrast to your plain English gowns. He would wonder which hue you would choose, and it became a delightful anticipation in his daily routine.
Your conversations transcended the realm of duty and scholarly pursuits. The two of you shared your favourite books, discussing the nuances of various works and debating the merits of different translations. Your insights challenged Alfred's own understanding, and he cherished these moments of intellectual stimulation.
As the days turned into weeks and then months, Alfred realized that you had become an important fixture in his life. your presence was a source of inspiration, a reminder of the power of knowledge, and a testament to the potential for understanding and collaboration between different cultures.
He found himself thinking of you when he was apart from you, reminiscing about how your eyes would dance with mirth as you argued with him about the inaccuracies of translated works, or how your laughter would fill the palace corridors. You had not only enriched his pursuit of knowledge but had also touched his heart, becoming a cherished friend and confidante in the process.
Alfred could still vividly recall the way you had looked at him with genuine wonder and appreciation when he had shown you his humble library. He knew that compared to the great libraries of Alexandria and Baghdad, his collection was modest, but you had delighted in it all the same. Your eyes, filled with curiosity and admiration, had swept over the numerous scrolls and manuscripts, taking in the wealth of knowledge contained within those walls.
In that moment, as you softly murmured your thanks, Alfred felt his breath catch. He was struck not only by the beauty of your physical presence but also by the grace with which you carried yourself and the genuine enthusiasm you displayed for learning. Your voice had a melodic quality that lingered in his memory. It was a voice that seemed to breathe life into the ancient texts that surrounded you and the king found himself quite enamoured with you. The two of you spent many a late night pouring over scrolls together, and although he always kept a respectful distance, Alfred found himself wanting to brush away the stray strands of hair that fell across your forehead, having escaped the tightly bound coil you usually kept your hair in.
Tonight was one such night as the dim light of the candle burned low, and after a lively discussion on herbal medicine, you had fallen asleep on one of the ancient manuscripts. Alfred, his mind still buzzing with the echoes of your conversation, fought against the pull of sleep. Instead, he watched you slumber, his heart filled with a mixture of admiration and tenderness.
In the soft candlelight of the library, you appeared even more enchanting. Your thick eyelashes brushed against your cheeks as you slept peacefully, your features serene. Your form rose and fell with each gentle breath, a rhythmic reminder of the tranquil cadence of sleep. Alfred couldn't help but be captivated by your beauty in this unburdened state. The play of shadows and light highlighted the delicate contours of your face, and the soft glow of the manuscripts around you lent an almost ethereal quality to the scene. You looked like a vision from a dream.
As he watched your slumber, a sudden, unexpected urge welled up within him. He was struck by the temptation to lean in and kiss you, but he quickly banished the traitorous thought. What an absurd thing for a king to do, to force his affections on a guest in his home. Especially when he had no way of knowing if you returned his feelings. He would have to content himself with the simple act of watching you sleep, his heart filled with a deep and unspoken longing.
He also found himself wondering if you were betrothed, for you couldn’t possibly be married and still be here. What man would not accompany you or let you out of his sight if you were his wife? Although you had discussed many things, you did not stray close to personal topics such as family. You were only a few years younger than him and surely you had to have someone in your life. And even if you didn’t, what could you possibly want with an ailing man like him when a woman as accomplished as you could have anyone in the world?
Such melancholy things plagued him as he eventually drifted asleep on the table across from you, his final thoughts fixating on what it might feel like to have your lips against his.

get to know me
tagged by @unseemingowl! thank you! :)
Favorite colors: blues and greens! i used to lean much more towards blue but now i'm very into green, like my whole living room in my new apartment is green.
Last song: you signed up for this by maisie peters!
Currently reading: nothing because i've been really terrible about reading this year but i've been thinking about picking up jonathan strange & mr. norrell by susanna clarke for ages so i might finally do that so i have something to read over the holidays
Currently watching: i've been watching nbc's new sitcom st. denis medical! it's very much in the vein of the office - so much so that it's a bit derivative i suppose but i really think it holds its own in terms of humor. it stars wendi mclendon-covey and allison tolman, who i really like, so i am enjoying it a lot :D
Currently craving: christmas treats, i suppose, because my grandma just sent me her usual holiday box of treats she sends every year so i am eating her roasted pecans and they are sooo good
Coffee or tea: i really don't like either - i literally just drink diet coke for my caffeine fix lol
Hobby to try: every year for the past, idk, three or four years, i have made it my goal to get back into drawing and it just hasn't happened consistently but i swear this time it will lmfao
Current AU: the only AUs in my head rn are about my BG3 game because i just finished astarion's questline the other day - killed cazador and did not let astarion ascend - and all that was beautiful and perfect and made me cry and i can't wait to see how it all plays out at the end of the game. however because i suffer from a burning curiosity i did create a separate save to see what happens when astarion does ascend. and now i have many little plot bunnies about ascended astarion/spawn tav in my head because i'm a sucker for a terrible terrible tragedy.
tagging @ilkkawhat @judyalvqrez and anyone else who hasn't done this one and would like to! :)

The bar is darkly lit, a strobe effect being casted upon a crowd of people, drunk and high alike. It feels like everyone has been dancing for hours; feet sore, legs cramped, but somehow unable to stop themselves from grinding and groping, singing and screeching, until they drop.
They don’t know that this is a club for the otherworldly.
The fairies in the corner all snicker at the people who complain of the aches and pains, going round and round in circles, despite the stabbing pain they must feel in their toes. Dabi is all too familiar with it, after pissing a fae off once when he ghosted her. He can only imagine how the humans feel, being forced to dance this macabre number until they pass out from exhaustion.
When that bores him, Dabi turns away from the crowd, rests on the bar in front of him. He whistles at the bartender, a witch who knows him all too well and the good stuff that he likes mixed in with his drinks. She nods to him before fixing it, and he catches her dumping something from one of her little vials into his drink, the black fume wallowing up and around her arm before she shakes it away, mixing it all in with a red straw.
“You remembered,” He nods his head to her with a teasing grin, watches how she rolls her eyes as she pushes his drink over for him to catch.
“And you never remember to pay your tab.” She quips back, but she can’t help the proud smile on her face when he downs half of it in one sip, groaning when he finally pulls the rim away from his wet lips. He licks the moisture away, before glancing up at her from under dark lashes.
“What’s a tab again?” Dabi asks playfully, slinking away into the dance floor as she hollers for him to stop playing stupid when already is. He can’t help but snicker under his breath, sipping at his drink as he makes his way through the crowds of people until he finds the steps that lead up to the higher level, where the VIP sections are. He nods his head at Shigaraki, who sits in his section with his feet up and his phone in his hand, and instead of sitting with the boring fuckin’ crowd, Dabi leans on the railing that overlooks the lower section.
He needs his meal for tonight. He’s gone a couple of days without feeding, mainly because he just didn’t feel like the hunt. It can become tiresome having to look for a potential meal; find someone suitable, desperate enough, flirting with them, convince them to take him home, screw them into their bedsheets, and flee before they could even wake up. He would much rather come in the night when someone is sleeping, but that proves to be a lot of work, too.
So he looks into the crowd, ignoring the otherworldly people who want to spend a night with an incubus. His charm isn’t even as strong on them, so he doesn’t understand the hype of it all, plus he can’t even feed as well on them, so its really just a waste of time.
But then, Dabi locks eyes with you. You’re in the middle of the dance floor, body turned, chin held up, as you stare at him from where he leans on the railing above. His eyebrows jump up in surprise, before he neutralizes his expression quickly. You were staring at him with such an intense look, he wondered if you were somehow other-kin that he hadn’t seen before. But you seem human for the most part, with a devilish little grin and tits to die for in your small top.
Okay, color him intrigued.
You dance amongst the people, although you don’t seem to be under the same spell as the people that the fae are fucking with. Your moves are sultry, all smooth and sweet and dripping sin off of your swaying hips like a leaky faucet. Dabi feels hypnotized, in a sense, as he watches you, taking another sip from his drink as he doesn’t dare take his eyes off of you. When you see his bright cerulean eyes drag up and down your body slowly, you grin even wider, and he fears he might see canines too sharp for a human mouth. But the imagery is gone before he can clock it, and he blames it on the potion that witch put in his drink.
Dabi crooks his fingers at you, signaling for you to come to where he’s at, and you cock your head at him in response, a teasing little quirk of your eyebrow directed at him. He points to the stairs below, and feels a shiver rack up his spine with how you lazily drag your eyes from his face, to his hand, to the stairs, and back at his face.
What the fuck is up with you, and why the fuck are you making him feel like this? Are you human? You look like it for the most part, but something about your allure makes him think that he’s in troubled waters and you’re the alligator ready to lock him tight inside your maw.
Dabi blinks, and you’re gone. He doesn’t see you anywhere on the dance floor or the steps, and he wonders if he somehow scared you off. But then you tap at his shoulder blade, and it makes his head whip around faster than he thought it could.
You’re even prettier up close. Your makeup is done up in such a way that your eyes look sharp, all shadowed depths creating dimensions that he feels like he might get lost in, your lips a deep plum color, your bottom lip just waiting to be bitten.
“You ask me to come up here just to stare at me? I would’ve figured you had better game than this, Dabi.” Your voice is a low sultry tone, quiet despite the loud roars of the speakers in the club and—wait, how did you know his name? Dabi quirks a surprised eyebrow at you, pausing where he went to reach out for you, hand resting midair as he takes you in.
“Do I know you from somewhere?” You couldn’t have been one of the humans he’s bedded once before; he would remember such an addicting face and voice if he did. You only shrug at him, saddling up to where he was leaning against the railing as now its your turn to overlook the people below. He watches you, follows your movements until your shoulders brush against each others, breath sucking in at the electrical zap that pulses through his body when his flesh skims yours.
“You don’t know me, but I know you.” You flirt, winking at him and bumping him a little when he can’t take his eyes off of you. Dabi straightens out, clearing his throat a little as he tries to wrack his brain for every encounter he’s ever had where he could’ve seen you before. It’s rare someone knows him and he doesn’t know them in return, as being one who gets around due to his ‘line of work’. You baffle him, and you can tell how much the gears in his head are turning through the concentrated look that has fallen on his face.
“Nice to formally meet you.” You tell him your name, reaching your hand out for Dabi to shake. He glances at it, and then your face, before he finally takes your hand in his own, squeezing the softness of your palm. He’d love to feel that wrapped around his dick tonight.
“Tell me; what crazy fucking story have you heard about me to know me?” Dabi asks you, still holding onto your hand, now rubbing the backs of your knuckles with his thumb. Through the contact, he can start to release his pheromones, the shit that drives you humans crazy. While you won’t be able to smell it as much in the heady atmosphere of the club, it’ll sink into your skin, glide through your system until you feel high on the attention from him. And then after that—you’ll be wrapped around his finger and bouncing on his dick in no time.
You go on speaking to each other for a while, flirtatious banter being exchanged between the two of you. You get closer throughout the night, from Dabi caressing your hand, to your own grazing the hair at his nape, to his chest pressed against yours, to your thigh straddling one of his as you press against each other. He thinks his charm has worked finally, if that hazy look in your eyes has anything to say about it.
“Wanna get outta here?” Dabi asks you, his head tilted toward your own, his nose brushing against yours. Both of your arms are wrapped around his neck as you slowly sway to the beat, your hips grinding occasionally on his knee slotted in between your thighs. You nod, biting at your bottom lip, the lipstick you have on seemingly never budging and he makes it his mission tonight to smear it all over your face with his thumb and tip.
“My place or yours?” You whisper to the air between your mouths, his hovering over yours, teasingly so. Dabi grins at that, warm hands squeezing once, twice at your hips.
“Whatever’s closer.”
..
You come stumbling into your loft before you know it, clothes flying every which way. His boots are kicked off, and you still have a heel resting haphazardly on your ankle. His shirt rides up to his collarbones, and yours is somewhere left in a trail on the floor. You two can’t even make it to your bed, falling on the couch as Dabi pulls you on top of him, his hands gravitating instantly to your ass. He kneads the flesh in his hands, groaning under his breath when you start to rock your hips to no rhythm in particular, gasping inside of his mouth.
You’re so intoxicating, so addicting, Dabi almost forgets that he’s the one in charge, that you’re the one under his spell, and not the other way around. It’s hard to remember that though, when his head starts to feel foggy and his limbs start to get too loose for him to not panic.
Did you drug him? Even if you did, it would’ve burned through his body quicker than it would’ve dissolved in his drink. So why does he feel like this? Why does he feel like he’s the one under his own charm, like he’s a desperate bitch in heat that just wants to cum?
“What did you do to me?” Dabi asks groggily, laying his head down on a throw pillow behind him, disconnecting from your sweet mouth as he groans. He squeezes his eyes shut, starting to freak out internally, as an evil little giggle from you starts to float around the room. He doesn’t see the change happening in front of him, right on his lap, and only snaps his eyes open when your tone is way too devilish than any human should be.
“Oh, little fledgeling, you have so much learning to do.” You purr to him, grinning, waving at him with sharp, black tipped, taloned fingers.
What. The. Absolute Fuck?
“You’re a—a succubus?” Dabi asks, groaning again and clutching his sides when something pulses through him, something so strong and unwavering, that he has to shift his hips around to make sure he didn’t just cum on himself untouched. Your laugh floats throughout the room as you start rocking your hips against his, ignoring his almost pained groaned as you tilt your head back.
“I’m a greater succubus, little fledgeling. Older than you could even comprehend.” You moan sweetly, taloned fingers starting to massage your tits from overtop your lacy bra. Dabi can only sit back and watch, dazed and confused and entirely too turned on to function as he takes all of you in.
Your smile is wide, canines sharp and wicked where they rest just a few centimeter down from your bottom lip. Your irises an unnatural crimson, like stained blood, black horns twisting and twirling from your temples, tipped a dark purple like the stain on your lips. Your skin seems to have some glow underneath, a pulsing rhythm that correlates with the way you grind your hips into his, wings that span as wide as the room flapping and twitching with every little hiccuped gasp that comes up from his throat. They’re leathery and dark, just like the swishing, evil little forked tail that shoots out in front of Dabi’s nose, only to slyly trace the outline of his face, almost lovingly.
You’re a sight that he’s never witnessed before, and for some reason, he feels blessed to have fallen under the trap of a greater succubus.
“Why so shy now?” You ask him with a pout, leaning forward until your breast rests against his chest, nose to nose with him, your tail now rubbing the hairs on his eyebrows. Dabi sucks in a shaky breath, trying to regain his composure, the control he never actually had, and swallows thickly.
“How did you disguise yourself so well?” He mutters, biting back a moan when you suck on the sensitive part under his jaw, hips still a slow rock on top of him. “We can always tell when someone is—when another one of us are—”
His brain is completely fried at the moment. Finds it hard to think, see, hear, and breathe with the way you tongue and nibble at his neck, with the way you put more pressure down on his pelvis with your own weight. He can feel his cock spurt against his thigh, fears he might cum without even directly touching you—but this was why he could never sleep with another succubus, especially not a greater one.
You things were downright heathens, all tantalizing, all sweet and devilish little smiles, luring people in until you caught them with the honeyed trap between your thighs. But you—you were different. You were sin in and of itself, and Dabi doesn’t think that he could ever be a match for you.
“That’s the power of being greater. I can disguise myself from anyone that I please, and I wanted to have just a bit of fun with my meal first.” He can hear the bite in your voice, the eery laughter bubbling up from your throat as you trace sharp canines against the flesh of his throat, threatening to bite. Dabi feels himself swallowing thickly before he can stop it, and you outright laugh at him as you sit up.
“Now, are you gonna be a good boy and let me eat you?” You ask him breathily, tracing a sharp talon up his chest, grinning when he hisses at the trail of black blood you leave on his torso. Dabi glances at the trail, before meeting your blood red eyes, licking his lips as he nods slowly, gripping your hips tightly in his hands.
“Whatever you want, sweetheart.” Dabi mutters to you, eyes now solely focused on the way your skirt rides up as you sit in his lap. But you demand his full and complete attention, talons gripping his cheeks to make him look you in the eye, as the other hand trails ribbons of black blood down the other side of his stomach.
“Beg for it.” You demand of him, licking sweetly at the seam of his mouth and pulling away when his tongue darts out to greet yours. “Beg for me to fuck you, fledgeling.”
Dabi downright moans at the tone, at the authority laying in your voice. He’s always been the one in charge, always took control with the little humans he would charm. But you, you’re all power and control and commandment, and he can’t help but fall pray to a demon older than his own ancestors.
“Fuck me.” Dabi spits at you, letting his own claws extend as he digs them into the skin of your thighs. You glance back at them, chuckling at the little beads of blood that he spills from you, gripping his face harder at the sheer audacity he could have with you.
“Attitude, I see. A stubborn one.” You muse, turning his face to the side to lick up the blood that you’ve squeezed out from his cheek under your talon. Dabi hisses at the contact, and you can smell his pheromones trying to take over the aroma in the room. How cute, he’s trying so hard to be in control.
You couldn’t wait to ruin him.
You pull back quickly, hands reaching down quickly to shred him of his jeans, a big pile of his clothes and your own making a mess of the couch and floor. Dabi can’t even keep up with how quickly you work, your tail flickering out to knick at his boxers, entirely too close to his dick when you expose him. He hisses, before holding his breath when the forked tip of it hovers menacingly over his mushroomed head, sitting up on his elbows as he gets ready to throw you off of him.
“Scared?” You tease with a smile, watching how his low cerulean eyes narrow at you when your tail soothes over the precum dripping down his shaft, so fake innocent. You knick the side of your panties until they fall into a heap in his naked lap, grinning when his eyes immediately zone in on how your sticky lips split open when you sit on his shaft.
“Does your pussy have teeth? That would scare me,” Dabi snips at you, his voice low as he grips your hips to start making you grind along his shaft, this time with no barriers in between. But you scoff at him, digging your nails into his hand until he releases you with a hiss, quickly maneuvering your body until your ass is in his face and his cock is in yours.
“Shut up, and put my pussy in your mouth already.” You throw over your shoulder with a little huff, giving him no time to process the beauty in front of him before you lick a long stripe down from his tip to his balls. Dabi groans hoarsely, head thrown back as he holds onto your ass for dear life.
“Y’don’t have to keep using your charm on me,” He mutters, damn near miserable with how hard his cock is throbbing in your warm hands. But you only chuckle at him, waving your ass in his face for him to get to work already, as you dip your tongue in his cockhole.
“Why shouldn’t I?” You ask him in a hum, mouthing at his tip before you suck his mushroom head in your hot mouth. Dabi hisses, holding your cheeks open until he’s greeted by the pretty sight of your sticky lips and twitching hole and cute rim. His eyes go low as he sniffs in the pheromones that drip onto his chest, mingling with the blood that slowly evaporates from his skin, your essence dripping and mingling into his very being.
“Because I already want you.” Dabi mutters, shoving his face between your cheeks and holding them closed until they swallow his head. He licks at you, feverishly, feeling your charm overtaking him more and more as he’s engulfed in where the scent is strongest. He can’t stop his hips from bucking up into your mouth as your smell surrounds him, licking doggishly at your cunt, making you moan high in your throat.
“Yeah? Well I want you pliant and susceptible, like the easy little thing you are.” You tell him, reaching a hand back to shove his head even further between your cheeks, grinding back on his face as he starts slurping on your hole, determined to taste every thing slips from you.
You sigh, ducking down to bob your head on his cock, taking him in easily, like you’ve been sucking cock all of your life. And in a sense, he guesses that you really have. Dabi pulls back for a breath, spitting on your cunt and thumbing it into the arousal that drips from your inner thighs, licking it all back up slowly.
“Did you just call me a slut?” He grunts, grinding his cock deep into your throat, head falling back momentarily when he realizes that you don’t have a gag reflex. Most sex demons don’t, but he doesn’t sleep with them regularly, and you’re also greater, so it makes the experience all the more euphoric.
“Well if the slut panties fit,” You tease him, reaching back to shove his face back between your cheeks when you realize that he’s had enough air. Dabi doesn’t complain though, but he does whimper when you start fondling his balls in your hand at the same time you swallow around his shaft, nose buried into the pubes there.
Dabi suckles at your clit, feeling your hole throb against his skin, reaching a hand up to start gliding a bony finger inside of you. Your sultry moan vibrates around his cock, and it twitches so violently, that he fears it might jump straight from your mouth. But you keep him in, humming around him, soft, warm hands tugging and tugging at his balls until his toes curl and he can only find it in him to lap at your cunt like a dog.
You’re messy, where you suck him off, all loud slurps and gulps and swallows, the sound of spit dirtying his pubes. He can hear the sticky sounds of your hands jerking off his shaft when you pull off, how your throat closes around him, how you pull his prince Albert piercing with your teeth gently, how your fingers rub at the seam of his balls. It feels like all too much, like he can’t keep up, like he might burst from the inside and spray your entire little loft in cum and black blood.
Before Dabi can even register that he’s coming, you pull your mouth off of him, moving around too quick for him to catch, and he damn near yelps when he feels another, tighter heat engulfing him. He struggles to peel his eyes open, mouth dropped lewdly at the sight of you riding him reverse cowgirl style while he still cums from you sucking him off. He’s too sensitive, and you’re too tight, and too mean, with how you look over your winged shoulder and laugh maniacally at the pitiful and pained expression on his face.
“Aww, poor little fledgeling can’t keep up? How fucking pathetic.” You bite at him, hips and ass dropping quickly as you ride him. Dabi tries his damndest to keep up, to slow you down with the pumping of his pheromones, but at the moment, he can’t even tell up from down. Can only lay there as you take him, fuck him the way you said you would, tight and hot cunt clenching down around him with every drop of your hips.
“This dick only good for little humans, huh? Can’t hang with a succubus, now can you, baby?” You tease, grinning, one hand on your lower back as you fuck yourself down on him, moaning when the pierced head of his cock grazes something soft inside of you. You press down on your lower stomach where you feel him, eyes fluttering shut as you take him for your own pleasure.
“F-Fuck, slow down s-some,” Dabi stutters uncharacteristically, teeth grit as he can feel his own canines starting to protrude, losing all sense of stability as your cunt clamps down tight around his dick. You’re trying to kill him, aren’t you? With your tail reaching around and under you to keep rubbing over his tightening balls, with your wings fluttering in his face, with your sharp talon reaching back to trail more blood down his bellybutton, pooling in his lap. It creates a wet slapping sound where you drop your hips, and the feeling of his cum and blood now staining your cunt and inner thighs only makes you howl in pleasure.
“Keep up or shut the fuck up, fledgeling. This is all for me.” You growl at him, your playful energy suddenly gone as you glare at him over your shoulder. It shouldn’t make his cock throb the way it does, but he listens to you. Only because he wants to cum again and feel how tight you’ll get around him, his head hazy and filled only with thoughts of you riding him until he passes out on your couch.
Dabi does as told, clamping his mouth shut, breathing heavily through his nose as he struggles with keeping up with you. He can only hold onto your hips, and hope that you cum first this time, because he doesn’t think he can handle you still going after he’s cum for the second time.
Luck seems to be on his side though, as he feels his balls tightening once more, but you start to lose your rhythm, hips stuttering against his, a wet kissing sound every time you drop down. Dabi picks up where you seem to slip off, hands clamped tight around your hips as he starts thrusting up into you, watching the bounce of your ass and how your tail doesn’t know what to do with itself at the height of your pleasure.
“Fuck me, just like that, baby, just like that. Make me cum on this dick, cmon.” You growl through gritted teeth, eyes clamped shut as you throw your head back, voice staccato and a low growl. Dabi clenches his jaw, focused purely on bringing you over the edge as his orgasm creeps up closer in his lower belly. He reaches around your hip, strumming quickly and messily at your clit, hearing you whimper out before you start clamping down tight around him.
“Shit!” You yelp, body jerking as you orgasm, cunt suffocating his cock as you keep riding him through the throes of pleasure. Dabi unclenches his jaw, canines scraping his chin as he growls at the feeling, his orgasm not too far behind as he keeps fucking you through it. He stills when the first rope of cum spurts inside of you, back arching off of the couch when evil little you moans and starts rubbing at his balls with every twitch of them.
“That’s right, little fledgeling. Fill me up, just like that, doing so well,” the praise you sing to him gets to his head as you keep grinding on his lap and rubbing at his balls. He thinks he might’ve cum dry at some point, his cock kicking inside of you despite not feeling any extra leaking from his tip. His eyes are screwed shut, his body pulled taut, finally collapsing into a heap on the couch when you stop riding and fondling him.
Dabi swears he hears you say something about being knocked up with little incubus and succubus babies now thanks to him, but he’s out like a light before the words can even register in his head.
…
When Dabi wakes up the next morning, he thinks that it might’ve all been a dream, that his sins are finally starting to catch up with him. But you’re standing in the kitchen across the open layout of your loft, in nothing but a pair of panties, your wings and horns and tail still on display and just as grand as he remembers. He groans, head falling back onto the pillow he slept on, as you perk up at the sound of him.
“Good morning, little fledgeling.” You singsong, pulling out a few things from the fridge as you smile in his direction when he pokes his bedhead up from over the back of the couch. He looks so adorable like that, you think.
“Breakfast will be ready in twenty.” You tell him, bringing flame underneath the pan in front of you with a snap of your finger. Dabi squints at you, frowning, as he checks the clock on your kitchen wall that’s framed by a black cat. Hm, cute.
“I’m not hungry, and plus, I should be getting out of here.” Dabi groans, standing, uncaring of his naked state as you obviously don’t either. You both glance at each others bodies, before you turn from him, tutting under your breath.
“I don’t think so.” You declare, scrambling the eggs before you, speaking up when Dabi opens his mouth to protest. “You’re going to stay here and eat, because you need your energy.” At that, he quirks a brow, strolling leisurely to you as he scratches his stomach, wrapping a finger around your curious tail when he gets close enough.
“Energy for what?” He asks, grunting in surprise when your tail suddenly pulls him in, his front against your back as you look at him from over your shoulder with a devilish smile that makes his cock twitch against your ass.
“Round two.” You say simply with a shrug before going back to the eggs. Dabi can only blink, before he shrugs with a nod.
“Round two doesn’t sound bad at all.”

Phone Sex Operator Eddie by @bimbobaggins69 SMUT

Lord have mercy. Let me start with, this is relatable af bc not only can I not talk to men in person but I can barely make phone calls LMFAO. This is a 2 part series so far y'all come get you some this is such a cute idea.
Sort of similar... I got a phone call from a military recruiter that is always trying to get me and my friends to join the Marines and his voice was so sexy I just ended up flirting with him the whole time (respectfully). Then we found out it's the same marine that we see in person at the mall all the time lmao so I've met this dude in person bahaha (once again respectfully.)
I fr was like "oh haha I wish you could see who you're talking too, the military wouldn't want me." BAHAHA my ass was FISHING for compliments BAHAHA

5, 20, 29 for the ao3 wrapped ask game?
ao3 wrapped ask game here if anyone wants to send in more!
5. What work of yours got more feedback than you expected?
hmmm.... well i didnt expect my super niche fics like letter to morena or a tale for the ages to get any comments at all lmfao, so maybe those? or maybe illuminate, i didnt think anyone would still care abt this fic more than a year after the last update lol
20. Which work of yours have you reread the most?
this year, definitely a petal on a stream lmfao. i wrote it bc i wanted to read pre-act-2 suicidal gale having desperate sex w astarion to feel like an actual person lol. its like filtered emotional catharsis bc its all filtered through astarion's pov. microdosing on human emotions by reading a fictional work that i wrote abt a guy witnessing another guy repress his feelings <3
29. Favorite line/passage you wrote this year?
favorite stand alone line would be. maybe this one from the ghost goodbye:
Revali felt…something. A cold wash of sensation, not quite nausea, spreading out from his chest to his wingtips like frost on glass. He knew what Mipha was going to say even before she opened her mouth.
favorite passage i think would be this one from a petal on a stream:
At last, Astarion rose to his feet. Only now did he get a good look at Gale. Gale’s hands were curled, knuckles pressed to the sockets of his eyes. His breaths were ragged, shallow, shuddering. He was shaking with the aftershocks. No, not aftershocks. Astarion watched, and realized Gale was crying. “…Gale?” Astarion asked carefully, his stomach dropping out from under him. He’d been so sure that Gale was enjoying it. What else could those impossibly sweet ramblings have meant? Why else would Gale have clung to him so desperately, begging Astarion to stay with him every step of the way? Astarion had been trying to help Gale feel better. Well, what had Astarion expected? That he’d actually do that right? He started to reach out, uncertain. Wondering if he should rest his hand on Gale’s arm, brush it against Gale’s cheek. But he froze with his arm halfway up. For all that they’d been touching moments earlier, it felt like there was an invisible barrier, stretching between them like gossamer. His touch had already brought countless others to their doom. He couldn’t shake the feeling that Gale was marching down that path regardless. Astarion let his hand drop back down to his side. Gale swallowed, shaking his head. He ground the heels of his palms harder against his eyes. When he finally gathered himself enough to respond, there was the wet sound of his tongue unsticking itself from the roof of his mouth. “Sorry,” he said, voice breaking. “I’m sorry, forgive me. I mean— Thank you, for… Thank you.”

So I find out I cant post this long a message here... what is this, twitter?! So here it is in parts I guess.
So yea, honestly, this was a lovely read, lovely probably not being the best descriptor but now that I had a few days off of it I think on it most fondly. I read the first two seasons in less then three days, with like 2 hour sleep in between, swapping saves on my various devices to take it to toilet and bath with me even. I did mean to get more sleep but reading in bed on my notebook turned out to not work the same as when im trying to learn that way and actually made me genuinely more awake. It really is like watching an interactive supernatural TV show, if you got the imagination for it anyway. I love the worldbuilding, the story, the characters with their highs and lows, some moments had me genuinely taking a moment to just step away and breathe. Having to decide between going after Bredley or leaving crying Chris alone on the stairs really had me in a tizzy. And this is probably the quickest I have ever been reading, the closer we got to finally getting Sydero out of Hell the faster my bleary eyes worked. Genuinely it provded me with few dozen hours of barely existing outside of your story, its been one of the best experiences I had with "gaming" or stories in general, since I first discovered proper rpgs way back when. Im actually quite new to the IF genre, tho I did read interactive novels when I was younger, but find out about these works has been absolutely mindblowing and the amount of work and passion that goes into the numerous titles out there is eyewatering. The third day I had to go to work and I was nearly useless, things falling out of my hands, taking wrong keys and literally forgetting where I was going and who I was speaking to as I was absolutely stuck in my head thinking out imaginary scenarios and wondering how it will continue. Your work has got most of the values that are important to me when it comes to the story, mainly the characters being very real, nobody being stupid or inconsistent just for story purposes, things just make sense and grow in velocity quite naturally. The niggling annoyances that usually mount up in my head untill I cant enjoy a story anymore are nearly completely absent here (tho I could find some if I dug hard enough :P). But most importantly it didnt make me feel like im just reading/playing a game story, I never thought that things will work out if I just pick the right dialogue, the delight of being unsure, frustrated and incredibly eager to get over the next hurdle while simultaneously being affraid of it, because I was terrified of what could happen to the characters I have grown to love has been there throghout. Having this balance, where I still felt like anything can happen and nothing is off the table even dozens of hours in is absolutely singular for me. It gives the moments of peace and just friendly dialogue immense weight and despite the painfully slow progress in the relationships (especially with Sydero, god you sadist!) it all felt properly paced because of the nonstop shitstorm englulfing the cast. The moments of levity are just as valuable as the intense ones. It kept me at the edge of my seat, desperate to try my best and it served to only endear me further to the people around my Roe, whether I innitially liked them or not. Even if some of the moments are just illusions, like the one with Bredley and Chris, it doesnt make them any less impactful and the fact that I didnt believe it to be an illusion at all means you did something special there.
If you want to read the rest of the ask then it's below the keep reading, so no one can accuse me of leaving shit out lmfao.
First off damn, thank you. Like, this was a lot to write and I appreciate you taking the time to do so and send it to me.
So to answer your questions first. Sorry, bud, but Sydero is in fact aromantic and though I understand there are certain things people may find themselves upset about, that's not something I'm going to budge with. If you don't continue that romance then I do understand, but I hope that if you do, you find that she is still every inch of awesome.
I don't know if the 'happy ending' part was a question or not but I've answered this before so I don't have a problem restating it, it's a bittersweet ending really. Of course there are multiple endings, ranging from bittersweet to literal world ending but that's up to the player of course. There is no true way to make this story just 100% happily ever after and make it make sense which is another thing I don't do lol.
So ... the thing is if we're talking about end of season three then ain't nobody gonna agree lmfao. And [REDACTED] can't agree cos [REDACTED] is now [REDACTED]. Don't you love [REDACTED]. But you said shitstorm so I'm going to comply lmfao!
Chris: "Yes, what am I saying? Fuck yea, we're saying fuck it to everything else so why not. Let's fucking get married ... but you gotta do this right, get on the knee babe."
Sydero: *stares at you, waiting for you to say sike. When she see's it's not happening she walks away.*
Zillah: "We might not survive the day and you want to get married? Is that even possible, I'm dead. Sure, let's get married."
Rahim: *opens his mouth, closes it. Opens his mouth, closes it. Inhales very deeply* "You are so lucky I love you. So damn, fucking lucky."
Amari: "Finally, I was beginning to think neither of us was brave enough to ask the other. Wanna see my wedding scrapbook? Because if we're doing this, we're doing it right."
Chanara: "You are the craziest person I have ever met." That's it, that's her answer.
BONUS - POLY
Amari: "AH, of c-"
Sydero: "No."
Amari: "But Syd!"
Sydero: *walking away* "No."
Its stories like this, with people like this that make me genuinely wish for happy endings, I am sucker for them but usually in gaming they sort of just come about by virtue of you playing, of doing things that are marked with the correct color or just being good enough at shooting things or mashing buttons. They are not without worth by any means but its not at the same level as when you want to be able to do what you can to provide it for the characters because you believe it wont happen otherwise, these people deserve an actually good outcome and I seriously hope to god you aim to provide it :)
So yea, despite my absolute gushing just now, this amazing work also has the absolutely most damning and worst any good story can have… its unfinished and despite everyone telling you its ok to take your time and obviously your health is the most important thing, I will be a bitch and tell you. Get your ass back into gear (please). Dont flake out on us. I went back and purchased the seasons on itch and will continue to support you so whether you have a full storyboard and just lost the apetite to write or if you are just making it up as you go and need to find some inspiration know that many of us are waiting (desperately) to see it through.
With that being said, just a few more comments/questions. First off, is there a difference in the interaction with Sydero if you do the romance and her relationship as well as can be done vs if its just okay? I intentionally didnt have any preconceptions and fought my mind viciously at forming some romantic fantasy notions of her "rescue", but still I would love for there to be acknowledgment of the possiblity of feelings. Im even thinking of writing up a short scenario of it, with just some small changes to make it a little but more fulfilling for the romantics like myself out there. It wont be quality, but it would provide at least myself a little bit of peace of mind.
Speaking of peace of mind and romances. Please, oh god for crying out loud please, do not make Sydero aromantic. After not liking her much innitially (unsuprisingly) the distance did make the heart grow fonder and my Roe genuinely made it his main mission to get her out of there and closer to her. I actually stopped playing at chapter 3 of the third season after their conversation, partially because I needed that break and partially because I thought this chapter was a good stopping point before you get back on top of it. But mainly because it just kinda threw me for a loop and I wanted to step away for a bit to let myself cool down. Sydero, imo out of everyone deserves some sort of happiness the most, the fact that she doesnt really know what that would be makes it even more crucial. So seriously, with the plethora of possible explanations dont let the aromantic one stand, I mean cmon, what kind of sadist would give us a romance with person incapable of it, you wouldnt do that to us right?! There needs to be a happy ending for this and when I say happy ending, I mean the whole disney fairytale wedding one with deers running around and birds singing, pissed, gagged Sydero wearing runic cuffs in middle of a devil trap about to go full demonic with a paper clip glued to her forehead saying "I do" type of ending :D
Now see, this is the kind of suspense I was talking about. Because I genuinely dont know if you aim to provide a happy ending here, Sydero may genuinely be too messed up or simply that type of person and those of us who chose to put our feelings into that relationship might just be screwed. I hope not, that would be devastasting but I still believe that very little is off the table (tho this needs to be!). Its a great, yet frustrating and painful feeling.
And now, for a prompt, because I absolutely do not have an off button and I have seen people asking you and loved your answers. So, what would each of the Supertition RO reaction would be to a genuine proposition of marriage, to make it less stupid, this would be at, lets say, end of season three level of relationship. Im curious at the levels of shitstorm this would cause :D
Thats it, so once more, thanks for writing this awesome piece of entertainment, I hope you are doing well and will do even better and all the best wishes from me.
Amari best girl. Im out.

RWRB Essay Part Fourteen: Final Thoughts & Cake
Word Count: 566
Congratulations if you've read this far! I did not expect this essay to be as long as it was, but everything I wanted to say needed more explanation, which led to more branch offs, and that's why I ended up sectioning it.
I can safely say that I absolutely adore this movie. I am going to be watching it on loop for the next couple days since I have the house to myself for the weekend.
This movie is definitely its own entity. It is unique from the book, and should not be judged by how "accurate" it is. It's a different telling of the story, and a fantastic one. It deserves to be appreciated, and gushed about.
If anyone tries to bring you down with their negativity towards this film, ignore them. I don't mean people who are politely providing valid criticism. I mean those people who have been basing their opinions entirely on how the movie compares to the book, and deciding that any changes made automatically makes it inferior. The people who are ignoring all of the fantastic aspects of the movie because they're so wrapped up in their own head.
I'm finishing this off with that reminder, that the movie is not trying to be the book. Please keep that in your mind when you watch it. For those who may have felt a similar feeling of unsatisfaction after watching it for the first time, rewatching with this as your focus may allow you to find what you were missing from the experience before.
To put it into a simple metaphor, Red, White, & Royal Blue is a cake. Yes, I'm aware of the irony, but it works very well here.
Let's say that the base story of Red, White, & Royal Blue is a chocolate cake.
The book can be a chocolate cake, with buttercream between the layers, pink icing, and sprinkles. The movie can be a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse between the layers, blue icing, and flowers.
They are both chocolate cakes. They are the same and different at the same time. Most people are going to have a preference, but that does not mean you can't enjoy both.
You have two chocolate cakes! It's a win-win!
And to the people who are simply trashing this movie, I'd like to stop and ask you something. How is it that the original author, and creator of these characters and story, approves and loves this adaptation, but you can't?
I'm an author myself, and I'm fiercely protective over my characters and ideas, and immediately get my claws out when someone suggests a major change I disagree with or a false interpretation of it.
Casey themselves has said basically the same thing I did at the start of this when I explained that the movie exists separately to the book, and they love it. If the original creator loves it, sorry, but I really don't give a damn what you have to say about its "accuracy".
To everyone else, remember to try and not let people's negativity influence you too much. If you love the movie, you don't need to justify it. You're allowed to.
Thank you for reading this. Seriously, fucking congrats if you made it this far. I'm expecting this to get like no notes and still spent an entire day writing this lmfao

Reading ATYD Sirius POV after i saw this tiktok which was said "remus is barbie and sirius is ken" with the audio like "barbie has a good day everyday, but ken only has a good day if barbie looks at him" - and ive only read 20% so far but they could not be more correct!! Sirius is down so bad from the very beginning without even realising it
its actually quite good that i finished atyd months ago and can't really remember it because this is like rereading an old fanfiction without the bore of re-reading the same paragraphs.
and i can't really list out the highlights like i do with other fanfics (mostly jegulus) but it's just enjoyably well written with thorough developments for Sirius' characterisation and coming of age experience.
i was like 50k words in when i realised that atyd entails astronomical amounts of miscommunication which i hated the first time around. its too painfully canon... i missed when jegulus would solve everything. watching sirius and regulus' relationship fall apart so far was devastating, and i know sirius is the protagonist but like really, he totally could have still had his brother somewhat on his side. and i love regulus so that makes me sad and want to read jegulus fanfiction.
tldr; pros: so well written and developed, nostalgic; cons: miscommunication as a theme, canon = PAIN & SAD
generalised highlights
- Sirius being so annoyed at peter everyday lmfao
- the way he tried so hard to get through to remus
- i mentioned this last time that Sirius was such a sweet boyfriend to remus once they started dating, but from the very start, he was always considerate and protective of his more so than towards his other friends
- i love this author and i think it must have been fun writing this because the plot is set, and all the dialogue and chapters are set, but they still manage to come up with a full story and somewhat separate plots. I think this is an excellent example of "everyone is the main character of their own life." but secondly, they knew very well what they were doing. sirius was subconsciously head over heels for remus, and the omniscient reader (me) enjoys every second of it.
- sirius' thoughts towards mary so far are so funny i cant. hes like 'i should be feeling something but its just not happening'. boy is so confused. all her flirting and hes just *panics*. meanwhile remus puts a hand on his shoulder and hes like "ive never experienced something so good ever". oblivious gay awakening
~~~
i FORGOT this was the fic where sirius hit regulus with a bludger and gave him head trauma, and then sped all the way down to the ground to him. and IM DISTRAUGHT theres no comfort for regulus in canon. im going to have to read CR or OTB again after this...
the toast bit <3333 actually so adorable.
(edit: omg i FORGOT what the toast bit was so i had to ctrl f the whole fic to find it and omg it was sirius telling reggie that ghouls are afraid of toast so that he will sleep at night omg it IS cute. idk why i thought it would be sirius making moonys toast or something obviously wolfstar is not my cup of tea anymore)
sirius' life is just confusion, anger, confusion again, denial, convince me otherwise
~~~
- "actually, im always sirius" 🙄🙄🙄
- jily indifference club
- lowkey bored of wolfstar, sue me
- need to read MC regulus fics rn tbh
~~~
IM done!!!
final thoughts
- why was that so fucking sad
- Every fanfic author has a soft spot for regulus you can't convince me otherwise
committing myself to attempting a chapter in the form of a true-crime doc for The Sycamore Tree lmfao should be fun but we’ll have to see how it goes. I like challenging myself and trying my hand at a variety of writing styles and this fic being my first rookie fic AND being as long and as… involved… as it is makes it a good sandbox for some experimentation. might scrap it if it pisses me off but the attempt will be made. I already know exactly what ground it’s gonna cover and everything so I’m looking forward to putting those chapters in proper writing (not just an outline) so I can really get to work on this one knowing fully how the relevant chapters before it panned out. it’s planned and all but I need to actually finish the chapters first bc I’m not… always great at following my own outlines. lol.
since I’ve been trying to flesh it out with subplots and side action and new characters and bottle chapters and things my outline has come out feeling structured very much like a season of television. so I thought it’d be cool to try and take one of the show’s unique episode formats and incorporate it in. turning Sycamore into something of like a… what-if for s5 on the whole rather than just a canon divergence that happens to start in s5? like I want it to be Large Scale. if my readers and I are committing to 40 chapters that range from 7-10k words each, I might as well use that space to its full potential.
I’m rambling. but what y’all are gonna learn about me the more and more active I get in the fanfic scene for this show is that there’s nothing I love more than using my socmed platforms to pontificate my little fic ideas instead of making private notes. do it on my twt all the time for bbc merlin bc that’s the place I promo those works. tumblr’s become a bit of a home base for my rookie content (which is just Sycamore rn but hopefully more in the future since I’m enjoying creating this one so much). that means these random little musings about potential fics or directions for those wips are mostly gonna land here. feel free to ignore them. or, hell, if I post some off-hand concept that you like go ahead and lift it for your own works. I think that’s why I like making notes this way tbh bc then if an idea is dead-on-arrival for me it could theoretically find life in the hands of another writer who came across it. like paying it forward or whatever but in fic prompts. inspiring myself and hopefully other writers in the process—since I know coming up w an idea is half the battle. might be a bit presumptuous but it’s like if I do it this way maybe I can make that part a bit easier on my future self or on someone else. idk.
anyway. love y’all a lot. like a lot a lot. the support is still mind-blowing to me. I don’t think I’ll ever quite wrap my head around it. very surreal. so hopefully you can bear w me and my aimless posts like this and my writing experiments that may or may not succeed. I’m so proud of this work so far but it’s such new territory for me and it really feels like it’s asking a lot of the audience to stick w it since it’s… so much. like I want the diversions from the main arc to feel natural and engaging. it’s difficult tho bc I’m not a professional or whatever. I’m not even someone w an english/writing/literature background or something. I’m just a pharmacology student writing some silly little fanfiction in my spare time.
what I mean to say is that I’m trying my damnedest to make it worth your time to read it all. even the parts that aren’t chenford or aren’t connected to the main plot. like they’re there bc I feel like it adds to the experience not bc I’m trying to pad the length. and ik that in my mind but sometimes I see the current word count or my projections for the final word count based on the average of the finished chapters and I question how it comes off. like I worry a bit that adding stuff like that could seem superfluous even tho it’s not my intention. I don’t want Sycamore to be long for the sake of being long. I want it to be long so it can feel like a whole universe. like a highly fictionalized thing still grounded somewhat in reality. not just a one-track story to get characters straight from point A to point B. you know?
idk what I’m saying anymore but. it all makes sense in my head. I just have so many thoughts about this work and I’m also just so excited to write it and publish it and let you see it but it’s very slow-going bc I want it to be as good as possible.
anyway. weird little draft note thing over. there was a point to this somewhere but I definitely lost it midway. lmfao. this is what happens when I forget to take my adhd meds and can’t focus enough to actually write but still want to feel like I’m making progress. whoops.
Obtaining Freedom
1.7k words and I did this a while ago, just never got around to posting it lmfao
Cw: Assault, mentions of abuse, character death. Long story short, it’s just a character getting beaten to death. Have fun reading!
Why is it that every time Ash thought she would be free, free from the torment and harassment, from the manipulation and lies, he always seemed to come back in and ruin everything.
The person in question? Well, Ash’s shitty ex boyfriend of course. That stupid ginger fuck named Hunter. He was a manipulative, conniving, deceitful, emotionally and physically abusive asshole who she had put up with for far too long. But after six years of hell, of his manipulation and abuse, she was finally free.
Or so she thought.
She had finally broken up with him and she was on her own. But she didn’t mind it. In fact, she quite enjoyed it. She lived in a small apartment with the cat she had stolen from her boyfriend when she burnt his house down. Now, I know this sounds bad but to be fair, he had been stalking her and harassing her after the two had split. And needless to say, she had hit her breaking point. So she kinda, sort of, maybe snuck into his house and started an electrical fire in order to make the whole thing look like an accident.
She had been playing with the cat, Marigold, the name given to the feline due to her golden, orange and white fur. It was storming outside, but she didn’t care. In fact she enjoyed this kind of weather, always finding it enjoyable.
After what felt like maybe an hour of her just messing with Marigold, she heard a knock at her door. Odd, she wasn’t expecting anyone tonight but she shrugged and got up from the couch, going to the door. She didn’t bother checking who was there, though this would prove to be her first mistake.
She opened the door, the smile on her face quickly dropping as she recognized the man. He was the last person on earth she had wanted to see.
“Hey there Ash. Been a long time since we last saw each other. Was it the break up we last saw each other? Or was it when you burned my fucking house down and stole my cat.”
The smile he had on his face quickly fell and was replaced by a look full of loathing.
Ash did her best to remain calm on the outside, but on the inside she was panicking. A shaky smile makes its way onto her face, it was the best she could do in this situation.
“Really? I don’t seem to remember that last bit happening.” The only thoughts that were running through her head as she spoke were, “Just play dumb Ash, he’ll believe it, or at least O hope he will.”
Hunter stared at Ash, not believing what she had said. You can’t lie to a liar apparently. He leaned his head close to her face, smirking as he did so.
“Oh Ash, poor, naive, sweet little Ash.” His smile quickly dropped as he grabbed her by the throat, throwing her into a table that was close to the door. Her back hit the corner which sent a joint of pain through her body before she fell to the floor. “Shit, that’s gonna leave a bruise.” Was what crossed her mind in that moment, but was quickly replaced by thoughts of trying to get out of the situation.
She desperately looked around for a weapon of sorts, anything to defend herself, her eyes landing on the bat she kept by the door. This was her second mistake. Hunter's eyes followed her gaze and a wicked smile spread across his face.
Her eyes widened and she tried to crawl toward the bat, hoping she could reach it before he could, considering he was outside. But her attempts were in vain as he waltzed in like he owned the place. He stomped as hard as possible on her right hand as she attempted to reach for the bat.
“Uh uh uh. I don’t think so, Sweetheart. But, thank you for showing me just what I wanted.”
He kicked her in the face, blood pouring from her nose. Her left hand quickly shot up to her nose, trying to stop the bleeding. While she was doing this, Hunter took his time approaching her, a menacing grin on his face as he held the bat in hand.
She did her best to move away from him, trying to get up and run further into her apartment but she slipped on the blood that had spilled from her nose onto the ground.
“Ash, you know I love you right?”
Hunter came up behind her, picking her up by the back of her shirt and throwing her into a wall. She managed to stay upright this time but he came up behind her, kicking her in the back of the knees, causing the girl to topple to the ground again. He put the bat down on a nearby table, walking closer to Ash once more.
“You're a clever girl Ash. But thinking you can break up with me and that I’ll just let you go? After all we have been through together?” His tone shifted from angry to almost pleading. It disgusted Ash since she knew all his little tricks.
“You mean the shit you put me through.” She spat. “All you’re abuse and cheating? All your gaslighting and manipulation.”
Hunter chuckles. “Gaslighting? Well now you’re just making up words sweetie.” He crouched down in front of her, holding her chin gently. “I only did all of that because I love you. All the following you around-“
“You mean stalking.” She interrupted.
His smile seemed to grow but his grip on her chin tightened, so much so that it could leave a bruise
“Don’t interrupt me dear. But as I was saying, all the following I did after we broke up, it was because I love you Ash! I always have. Please, let’s just put this all behind us and we can be a happy couple again.”
She remained quiet and he seemed to take this as a sign for him to make his move, his face moving closer to hers as he tried to kiss her. But she wasn’t planning on being trapped in this cycle of abuse. Not anymore. She spat in his face, and punched him in the stomach, though it didn’t do as much as she had hoped it would.
The smile on his face disappeared and he let go of her chin, standing back up and he looked over at the bat he had set down, letting out a deep sigh as he turned his back to her and grabbed it.
She had been trying to stand back up, thinking she had a chance to maybe get away while he had his back turned to her
“I didn’t want it to be like this Ash. But you’ve left me no choice.” He quickly turns around, swinging the bat as hard as possible at her ribs. A loud crack could be heard as the bat made contact with the girl's ribs. She let out a wheezing cough as falling to her hands and knees, clutching her right side.
He stood over her, raising the bat high over his head before bringing it down onto her back at full force. She let out a pained scream but Hunter grabbed her by the hair, leaning down and pulling her head up to his so they were almost eye level with one another.
“Uh uh. We don’t want any of that. Can’t have any of your neighbors hearing what’s going on. Though I doubt they can over the storm taking place outside.”
He was right, the storm had gotten worse and it seemed like no one was coming to help her.
He punched her in the face before letting go of her hair, deciding to just stomp on her face repeatedly.
“No one’s gonna come and help you, you little fucking slut! You’re all alone here.” He continuously stomped and kicked her face, and once he felt that had enough of that treatment, he moved on to kicking her in the stomach and ribs.
He laughed at the pained expressions she made, the life seeming to drain from her eyes with each kick.
“Why don’t you try and stand up again Ash? Are you not strong enough anymore? You seemed so confident earlier. What happened to all that bravado?”
She tried to speak, to snap back at him but Al legate could be heard from her was the sounds of her coughing up blood. She managed to push herself up to her knees, looking up at him, her heterochromatic eyes showing no emotions anymore. Tears were streaming down her face but she continued to try to be strong.
“How about-“ She was interrupted by a fit of coughing, blood dripping down her nose and mouth. She finally managed to find the strength to speak without coughing up blood.
A smile made its way onto her face as she looked at Hunter with her eyes partially closed. “How about you suck my fucking dick you goddamn cunt.”
And this was the third and final mistake that sealed the poor girl's fate.
Hunter roared in anger and with all the strength he could muster, he swung at the bat as hard and fast as possible at Ash’s head, a crack of lightning and thunder striking outside. Her body hit the ground, her head bleeding.
He stared at her body, nudging it with his foot before dropping the bat next to her body. It didn’t take long for the realization of what he had done to hit him. His eyes widened and he ran out of the apartment, slamming the door behind him. Cowardly of him yes, but that wasn’t anything new with him.
Her body lie motionless on the ground, her once ragged breathing coming to a stop. The final blow Hunter had struck cracked the poor girls skull, finally killing her and putting her to rest. Her eyes were wide open and lifeless, her body bruised and bloodied from his assault. All that was left from Hunter’s little rampage was the broken body of a girl whose future was ripped from her. But she was finally safe from his torment. She was finally free from him, despite dying in the process of obtaining this freedom.
She was free at last.
